We stopped here on the way to attractions because of reviews. The restaurant is extremely run down. Service was average. No smiles. No welcoming just stares from the staff. Lunch menu was an after thought to the lunch buffet which did not look appetizing. Would recommend finding another place to eat in town.

We arrived late at Hill City and this was one of only a handful of places open. Typical café with western motif. I was told this place has been here since the early days of Hill City. We opted for their buffet since we were hungry and we didn't want to wait for our food. They had ribs, chicken and... More

This restaurant provides an all you can eat buffet, both a breakfast buffet and lunch, dinner buffet. If your not that hungry you can order off the menu. The dinner buffet includes ribs, cabbage rolls, chicken, a salad bar with soup and so much more!

While on vacation in the Black Hills, we thought it would be nice to try a local cafe to eat dinner. We stopped by on a Saturday evening at around 6PM. The cafe was mostly empty, which was surprising given the time of day and it being peak tourist season. The good: my wife and son had buffalo burgers and... More

Our waitress was wonderful and suggested some things my husband could eat with his "new teeth." She was efficient and so friendly. The place has the greatest food and it is all good value. Their buffet is sooooo good. And I love the Buffalo Burgers!! This is a great place to eat for families. We went back the next morning... More

We ate here after our first choice was closed...lucky us. The staff is super friendly and funny. We had burgers and fries, and they were delicious.

We stopped here for supper with our 3 kids (8, 5, and 2) while on vacation. This is one of those rare restaurants that is popular with both locals and tourists, and treats them all equally and with great service. The food was very good. Though my wife said the salad bar was mostly pasta type salads, and very little... More

Great for breakfast. Can order from the menu for a great price. Also, they have a breakfast buffet that is awesome.

I totally dispute the reviews of Heidisue2010 - you could tell that everything was fresh and most certainly nothing was frozen, canned, or processed that came on my plate. The only thing that may have came to our table that wasn't made in house was possibly the corn dog my son had. I ordered the hot beef and you could... More

We arrived moments before closing time and were encouraged to still come in and were not rushed. Had awesome food and service! Our group went back two more times for breakfast while in town and had the same experience all three times.
