We took our son and his out of state girlfriend to the hills for a few days. Took them to Chute Roosters even though the website said it was closed the day we went. Maybe the added business of the Sturgis Rally had something to do with it. The place was not busy and we had the eclectically decorated room... More

We ate dinner here. Almost thought they were closed as there was only one car in the parking lot. The restaurant is clean with interesting decor. The staff are friendly. Food was average...nothing special.

We were traveling through with another couple on a motorcycle and was told about this eatery by hotel clerk. The meal was ok but a little spendy. It is in a barn like setting which makes for intersting decor. Service was good waiter was friendly and helpful. I would eat here again if there was no where else to dine.

We have stopped two days in a row and had great service and food. More food then you can eat. The meals we has were super and the service was fast. It's a place we like to go. The inside is so much fun to look at. We will stop here again.

This was an okay place to eat. The food and and service was alright, but nothing special. The price was okay, about the same as most places in the area.

We had a group of 5 for dinner. Service was very good. The decor is very unique! A National Landmark. Everyone was happy with their meal. The night we were there a family with small children were running around the pool table screaming and fighting over the pool balls. This went on for most of the time we were there.... More

After a bad experience at the Golden spike we decided to try the Chute this night. It's a short walk up the street from the Best Western where we were staying at. And after a long day at Mt.Rushmore we didn't feel like driving into the center of town. The service was good and our waitress was very pleasant. Prices... More

Sorry, but I can't recommend this restaurant. It was very warm and uncomfortable. Outdated and dingy...

After a long tiring day we walked into the restaurant and waited to be seated. And, we waited and waited and waited til our patients ran out,so; we left. We had be really been looking forward to trying this place out but, that was not a good sign for us. We took our business elsewhere.

Where do I begin? Our party of 7 couldn't be seated in the dining area so we had to sit with our kids in the bar. Don't order the water it tastes like pure chlorine. We ordered chicken wings which cost $18 and literally they were burnt with no meat on them. The one good meal my daughter had was... More
