This was such a nice treat. The free wine tasting was lovely - we found a half dozen wines to take home with us. Some more sweet than we typically drink, but they were very fun. One thing that was a bit unexpected was the nice lunch we had. We went as a family of 2 adults & 2 kids... More

Traveling from Wisconsin to the area in March we found out that a lot of places are still closed for the season. To our delight both the Prairie Berry Winery and Miners Brewery were Open. Both places are owned by Sandi Vojita a 5th generation wine maker. Both places were a lot of fun. We talked places to see with... More

I have been wanting to try the lunch at my favorite winery forever. So we used our anniversary as a reason to finally do it. We had wonderful sandwiches, mine was the turkey and cranberry chutney and my husband had ham with granny smith apples, the soup was potato and smoked gouda cheese. Of course we had their wines and... More

Last minute stop. We wanted to try some new wines and feel fancy. Ordered the cheese plate and some Moscato. Awesome is all I can say. Come try some unique South Dakota wines!

We first visited in 2014 and loved the wine. When we returned to the area for a visit in 2015 we decided to join the wine club. Now we look forward to receiving our shipments! We have sampled small wineries all over the US and come back to Prairie Berry as one of our favorites!

Wonderful taskings on arrival. Your choice of about 30 wines ; you select 5 to taste. Don't like wine? buy a beer to drink while you wait for the rest of your party.

The staff at Prairie Berry Winery was top-notch! They were extremely knowledgeable about their wine selections and answered all of our questions. We were not rushed to sample and buy, but take our time to enjoy. Great afternoon treat for wine lovers. They will give the sales pitch on their wine club, which is a good deal, but never pushy.... Great wine, but seemed to be a little understaffed and we weren't able to get all our questions answered. Be sure to check our the Miner Brewery next door!
