I really enjoyed the Chenin Blanc, being the self-declared wine snob that I am. I was also happy with our server, Pat, who understood our needs and shared some of the finer wines that Prairie Berry has to offer.

We appreciate that the winery had some activities for kids as well. We were also very impressed that wine tastings were free. That seems to be hard to come by in this area.

We stopped in to buy a few bottle of wine for friends who had previously visited and we ended up spending $200 on wine - no regrets. Not just the fruity local wine - they had real wine. Very cool place!

The winery is in a lovely setting with great wines to taste and purchase. Tastings area free. Lunch sandwiches and soups were excellent. Nice break to relax.

I needed a gift for the office. I do not have much knowledge in the wine scene. LOVED this place. Helpful, tasteful and fun. Lots of things to try, wine, coffee, jams, jellies, cheese, etc. Had so much fun with Ben who was our "steward". Great evening. Thanks for the nice break!

This place is lovely, not at all what I expected. The space they have is fantastic. We originally stopped at the brewery next door and wandered in here since it was so close. the two are related businesses. You get to try 5 wines for free. They have a large selection. My husband and I each choose a different 5... More

This place was amazing. You get to try 5 different wines before deciding what to buy. Their wines were so good and unique. Each type has a story that comes with it and the staff are very knowledgeable about their product. This was one of my favorite activities here in Hill City!

Not very impressed. The wine was okay, but the out person was not very helpful and talkative. Also hit the brewery, terrible service. 4 bartenders and it took us 10 minutes to get a beer and nobody ever checked on us.

We made a quick stop here to take some local wines home with us. We did some wine tasting. The gentleman that helped us was very friendly with us and helpful with my husband who doesn't know much about wine. He suggested some wines he thought we would like. The wine itself was delicious

This is the kind of winery we expected in SD. They make there wines from local grapes and other berry things. Give them a try as the wines are quite unique. If you like them a little sweeter, this is your kind of joint. Their winemaker does very well and makes very decent wines. We enjoyed ourselves.

Thank Randal B
