We so enjoyed the first visit that we returned a second time. Everything is made from scratch and is delicious. Portions are small but very tasty.

While visiting Prairie Berry Winery we attend one of their wine tasting. The person who presented the wine tasting was knowledgeable and friendly. The wine selection was to our liking. The place was clean and neat.

The staff were very friendly and super fun. They had some delicious wine selections and the food was PHENOMENAL! I had the Wild mushroom and leek flatbread and my husband had the smoked salmon open faced sandwich. Would order both again! My only advice is to maybe just go for lunch or to sample wine. It wasn't much of a... More

For the past six years, we have been going to the wine tasting restaurant. You can choose the wine you want and have a glass with your food. I usually have their special, my favorite is smoked salmon with fresh vegetables.

More of a fruit wine place. Great if you love wine like Rhubarb, but I'm a traditionalist and I like my grapes. The food, however, in their small cafe area, is worth a stop. The soups and salads are outstanding. I saw lots of plates I would like to try. So, if you are not into the wine, stop for... More

Not much here as far as good wine goes. Mostly all fruit juice with sugar added and fermented. They did have a small selection of real wines made from real grapes but at $26 a bottle they can keep it! Everything here is overpriced.

Thank you for including us in your plans during your recent visit to the Black Hills. We're sorry to hear your experience in our Tasting Room was not what you expected. We make many of our wines from the fruits of the prairie - rhubarb, buffaloberries, chokecherries, pears, and currants - and have been honored with more than 900 awards... More

Everyone should stop by this winery and its brewery on the same property. There are 5 tastings of their many award winning wines , free of charge. You must go home with their KA Rhubarb wine as it's awesome!

Enjoyed stopping to taste some wines and enjoy the fun wine labels for example"Lawrence Elk". They also have a small cafe and a good number of gift items. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Prairie Berry just keeps improving its brand, wine and venue. Take my word for it, you will have to pinch yourself to believe you're visiting a South Dakota winery! Everything is simply first rate, from the tasting/sales room to the wonderful light cuisine. Treat yourself and someone special!!

Thank SDScott
