We love the wines at Prairie Berry. They are unique and affordable. The staff is amazing!!! The tasting room even has an area for kids to play games while the parents shop. I highly recommend a visit to this winery!

This is a unique, unassuming winery. Food and wines were delicious; gift store and service was great. Fun lunch stop for the entire family.

We loved this place! Wine is very sweet but embrace it and enjoy! Our lunch was the freshest and most creative we found on our South Dakota trip, if we were locals this would be a regular lunch spot! The woman who helped us was a hoot!

My son & I played checkers while respectively drank orange soda and a delicious glass of wine. Our food was delicious and a nice change from the burgers and fries in other places.

We were drawn in by their huge bill boards but glad we stopped. Great free wine tasting, interesting gifts, yummy cheese and even a small cafe for bites to have with your wine. I loved the Pumpkin Bog and tart Rhubarb, both tasty and both came home with us. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We enjoyed... More

This place was a hoot. We've stopped here multiple times. Friendly and knowledgeable staff; enjoy the sampling of wines, etc. There is also a chance to stop next door for some great brews.

Planned our SD trip a year in advance. Found the advertisement for Prairie Berry Winery in the excellent "South Dakota Vacation Guide" as we studied it. So glad we put this place on our itinerary. Perfect location - morning at Crazy Horse - lunch at Prairie Berry and afternoon at Mt Rushmore. And all within easy driving distance of each... More

We stopped at the winery and did a wine tasting. Very good, it was complimentary and the employees were very informative, gave a history of each wine we tasted with plenty to pick from. Ended up buying the rhubarb wine, excellent fruity wine.

Prairie Berry Winery is a beautiful new building and you are greeted instantly and asked to join in the wine sampling. You could choose five wines to sample out of many many different wines and there was also a table with jams and jellies to sample. They had a restaurant to order lunch from which we did one day and... More
