This has got to be one of the best Sunday lunches we've had excellent value for money and it tastes Devine. We have been to castle fields and had a bad meal always of high quality and lots of it, waitresses are always smiling and very pleasant . The pub is a long way out from where we live but... More

We ate here last night and the food was really good, you won't leave here hungry. The food is stunning as always. Would recommend to book ahead as the restaurant is always busy which is always a good sign. The staff are very welcoming. I

The Castlefields is immaculate, nicely tended gardens, beautiful hanging baskets, super views, play area for the children, AND they accept dogs in the bar, so we were able to bring our young dog for a family day out and sit in the bar (no dogs in actual restaurant). Food is really good value and the meals are all a generous size... More

This is one of our favourites as a family for Sunday roast. You will be very lucky and take a real gamble to just show up on a Sunday unless you've booked. This is extremely popular. Huge portions but incredibly good quality. Loads of veg and never soggy. As for the other dishes and other days... The meat and ale... More

Came here with my family and was not disappointed. We were a party of 15 with small children but this didn't seem to be any issue at all. Sat outside for drinks while the children played within the play area, views were stunning. Placed our orders and then got taken to our table. The Brie wedges are to die for,... More

We took my parents to the Castlefields for lunch today, our choice as we've previously had a lovely meal here. Today's lunch didn't disappoint. Beautifully cooked and nicely presented....we were all so full we couldn't manage a pudding so smaller portions for us next time. Two reasons for not giving it excellent....the rather invasive piped music (why so loud) and... More
