Enjoyed a really pleasant lunch with friends - charming staff and excellent food. Recommend the shoulder of lamb with flatbread. Friends had veggie option of strudel which they both said was lovely.

This a very nice pub. The choice of food and drinks is great and the staff very friendly. The garden is also great and there is loads of parking. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

We stopped here and had lunch after visiting the bluebell Woods. All 6 of us enjoyed our meal and we sat outside under the vines. Will definitely recommend and come back for more.

Very well kept gastro pub. Good selection on the menu which differs slightly from the norm. All courses well presented, good portion size too. Definitely recommend the salt baked celeriac, slow cooked Ox cheek and sticky toffee pudding. We ate in the restaurant area which...More

Three of us had a lunch on a sunny Saturday lunchtime. And, just like an earlier visit, the food, service and value were outstanding. This is a very well run establishment, with a lot of trouble taken with every aspect. Very locally sourced food is...More

Had no idea that this pub existed but as I saw it and I was hungry, I thought: why not? From the outside, its a charming country pub that is everything you'd hope to find in an English village.....in fact, better. I am a great...More

Never previously visited here but popped in for Sunday lunch. Roast beef was cooked to perfection as were the accompanying vegetables. Apple crumble for desert was very tasty with vanilla ice cream. However, I would have enjoyed it more had there been custard available. New...More

Description
The Walpole Arms, Itteringham, dating back to the 18th century is a traditional country pub, sitting within the heart of north Norfolk's picturesque countryside in the village of Itteringham. Itteringham stands on the River Bure, four miles north west from the market town of Aylsham and just two miles from the National Trust's magnificent Blickling Hall. We pride ourselves on offering an innovative and exciting menu, preparing dishes using the highest quality, locally produced, seasonal ingredients. Our traditional bar area is full of country pub charm, with a wood burner warming up cold winter nights, welcoming both diners and non-diners alike, whether it is a pint of one of our many real ales such as Woodfordes Wherry, Adnams Southwold, a glass of wine from the extensive wine list, or a meal from our a la carte menu.
