Quick and friendly service from host, doesn't matter which seat you get I find it has a view, not jammed up to other tables and orders come out fairly quickly. Been there twice and have not had anything negative to talk about, so I will...recommend.More

We stopped at Fat Jack’s at 2 pm on a Sunday while on a road trip from FL to Maine. The restaurant is larger than I expected and is near a Super Walmart and gas station. We did not have to wait for a table,...but they were certainly very busy for a late lunch on a Sunday. They did have a special lunch menu where, for $9.99 you can get a meat entree along with 2 sides, and there were a lot of choices for sides. This seemed to be the most popular selection being ordered by many of the locals who were dining after church. We instead chose items from the regular menu. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich with a baked sweet potato on the side. The sandwich was good sized, but he said it didn’t have a lot of flavor. He did enjoy the sweet potato. I believe the sandwich was $9.99. I got the mushroom Swiss burger done med well, and waffle sweet potatoes on the side. My meal was delicious and the burger was huge on a toasted bun. I believe mine was $11.99. My husband had iced tea and I had a soda. The total bill was about $31 before tip. I think our sides may have been a small upcharge. I think they have a full bar, as well. Our server was pleasant but busy. The food came out reasonably fast; I think ours took a bit longer than the guests who ordered the lunch special, but we were done and out the door in under an hour. Fat Jack’s is a casual restaurant and seems focused on Southern/comfort food. I give it 3 stars because my husband wasn’t impressed with his grilled chicken sandwich or his weak unsweetened tea. And, our table wasn’t wiped completely clean before we sat down. Knowing what the restaurant is now, we still might return again if in the area.More

Travelling with spouse and stop in for a nice meal. Our server was awesome, friendly and funny, actually talked to us, not just took our order. Food was awesome. the only complaint was at the end of our meal the manager came over to our...server (we sat at the bar) and started to berate her in front of us. Not sure who trained him, but you never berate employees in front of others, let alone customers. the servers demeanor quickly diminished, don't blame her. they should find a better manager. I hope the server is smart enough to know she should find a better job, cause she does not have to work for Aholes.More

Great meal and service from Cheyenne! Driving from Florida to Pittsburgh, we were spending the night and wanted something other than fast food. What a treat! I had the queen ribeye with baked sweet potato and cole slaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. My husband had...the shrimp and grits and loved it. We had our dog, and even though we were the only ones outside (cold night), Cheyenne was always checking on us and she was great too. Highly recommend!More

I came as an alternative pizza parlors, fast food snd barbeque in town. We stop here two times a year on our trip to snd from Florida. We have tried all other viable spots a tried here. Difficult to get anything green snd other then...their burgers which looked good but not on my diet is all fried . Staff is fairly attentive and people seem to relish the items served but I think we will. Judy buy ingredients at the supermarket snd make salad in the future . Great place for lunch with outstanding specials. We plan our trips to and from Florida so we can stop for lunch. Great value - try the fried chicken.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Hallie, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the items and how they were prepared. Alot of choices from seafood, steaks, sandwiches and burgers with fries. We were full but still took dessert to go. Try Fat Jack's out! You won't...be disappointed!❤More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the Southern Crafts Center (awesome). We were starving and a little hesitant but we shouldn’t have been. This place is absolutely wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. The veggies are delicious and the fried...shrimp platter with green beans and sweet potato was nothing short of magnificent, as good as my favorite little restaurant serves on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Topped off by a huge slice of moist chocolate cake big enough to share, and served by one of the friendliest ladies I’ve ever met, my husband and I were definitely satisfied customers. This place is not to be missed so that you too, can also walk out the door, Fatter than Jack!’More

Lovely covered patio dining area. Service was excellent. I enjoyed chicken salad on a croissant . Tasty and seemed homemade. My husband had Caesar salad w salmon. He states it was delicious. Another bonus , the restaurant right off route 95. Easy access for our...trip. Will definitely return when in the area.More
