Food was delicious- spacing accommodated for COVID.. waitress was super friendly. I would give 5 stars but we ordered fresh coffee to bring home that they recently started roasting. Birthday Cake was Devine. However, it was given to us in a brown paper bag (never...informed us of that) she also said it was a pound of coffee and when we got back to my daughter’s home (we traveled to SC out of state) we weighed it .. not even close to 1/2 a lb. very disappointed. Plus the additional cost to secure it for our flight home. Outside that.. the grits were so so delicious.More

My wife and I had a very nice breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Looking at the place from outside one would not expect to find a good meal but as we found out the food and service are much better than the outside appearance....I had delicious French toast and she had a tasty omelette with salmon. Service was attentive and the prices were great. Highly recommended for breakfast and brunch.More

Hello?! Breakfast anyone! Great menu selections including open-faced omelettes and French toast, nice long tables for large groups, and a full bar if you’re into that sort of thing mid-morning 🙃 And don’t forget the awesome coffee bar with Southern-pecan flavor, among others. The best...part: low, reasonable prices!!More

For breakfast we rreticently passed up the Perkins (love their pancakes and twin berry syrup) in town for this on my daughters recommendation. She told me not to hyperventilate as we passed by. Fortunate I listened to her, wow, the owner cooks on Wednesday’s. He’s...a wizard. Place gets a A+ just on presentation. Her Fried Chicken Capresie? Benedict was too pretty to eat. She managed. I just had eggs, actually prepared medium ....shouldn’t be a big deal but it seems to be everywhere else. Grits were rough cut and very good. They make their own bagels also very good. Wife’s from North Miami so I attended Bagel U. The outer surface could be a little bit harder but, OY! It was a good ET. If you don’t know what that is just get toast. Several custom blended coffees on the bar, serve yourself. Wife said the huge biscuit and sausage gravy was good too. French toast actually has a flavor over the syrup, very good. Not a fancy or cheap place to eat but, not beyond the pale rather. Service was rapid and friendly. Can recommend to anyone.More

Don’t let the outside of this little hidden gem fool you… The inside is full of cuteness, courteous staff and deliciously prepared food! We enjoyed the sunrise sampler, chicken fried steak and chorizo eggs Benedict… All portions were huge and enough for two people! But...that’s OK, because we took some home for later! There is a coffee bar available with several unique flavors… Only complaint we had was the coffee wasn’t very hot. Looking forward to going back and trying some other fun dishes on the menu!More

Brunches are getting harder in the Summerville/Charleston area. Popular spots mean long waits and sometimes spotty service. I’d ordered Sunrise Bistro before from Uber Eats and wanted to try it out in person with my mom. Friendly staff and the shrimp and grits meals we...had were so good! I subbed the toast for a biscuit this time and it was homemade and huge! Will definitely be back again, especially since we were able to walk right in and be seated!More

Took my family for breakfast this morning. We have lived here for over forty years and live only five minutes away. Our server was Chris who was amazing and since this was our first visit was very helpful in our selections. Food was great and...hot. Coffee selection was amazing. A coffee bar with at least 10 selections. We will be visiting more.More

Our first trip to the Sunrise. It is a large space and was very clean and nice inside (as opposed to the outside which was not very inviting). We were waited on quickly and did not wait long for our food. However, the coffee is...a self-serve coffee bar. Of the four canisters, two had run out of coffee and what we were able to get was luke warm. The waitress was in a hurry (although we were the only customers) and barely gave us time to ask questions. She never came back again except to bring our bill. The food is best described as “so-so”. It was also luke warm. I have crossed this place off my list for a good breakfast.More

This is an excellent place for a quiet, peaceful breakfast. The food is cooked to order, and they have a wonderful selections of brewed coffee.
