I'm kicking myself that I didn't insist on stopping in before. We moved here just before the quarantine, so we just got here tonight. THE BEST! They are being VERY careful as far as Covid goes, and is like being back in Ireland. The food...and drink are fantastic, and our bartender is SUPERLATIVE. Can't wait to go back.More

This pub is built on The genuine Irish Publican houses model. The atmosphere is cozy, except for the weekends, and the servers are all first class. They serve typical Irish fare, If you like Sheppards Pie, corned beef and cabbage, and irish Stew. this is...the place to come. Himself is from the old country, and runs a wonderful place. If you come in early, their lunch has smaller orders, to allow you to go back to work!More

We’ll begin by saying the service was exemplary. Atmosphere very quaint and clean. I ordered the Madra burger, well done but not burnt. Burger was burnt, and fries were greasy. Our waitress reordered the fries, a tad better. But I suspect the oil was old....Two others in our group order the Shepherds Pie. One said it was ‘ok’, the other noticed some ingredients listed on menu were missing; the veggies. A really nice place to hang out, outdoor picnic tables beneath blue tents for outdoor dining. The ratings for Madra Pub are off the charts and I was so looking forward to our visit. Maybe the cook had an off day.More

The Madra Rua is a great place to go if you want excellent Irish food and some excellent variants that are unique to this restaurant. You have to get the beer cheese soup. A must try. Bring some cash and bring your appetite.

We stopped here on the way back home after spending time in Murrell's Inlet, SC. A friend lived in the area and we met up here to do some catching up and to grab lunch. The food was good and filling. Relaxing place and left...alone to just chill and talk. I recommend for those of you who are not in a hurry.More

Shepherd's Pie is NOT made with beef, it is made with lamb. Their's was more like an Italian casserole. The chairs at the booth tables do not have backs so they aren't real comfortable. The waitress was attentive, no complaints there. But they really need...to learn what Irish food is and isn't.More

Love everything! Great atmosphere. Onion rings are a must try. Good daily special. We went today as a couple but have been with the family before.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Interior is dark paneling and trim. Lighting was too low to read the menus so we opted for one of the lunch specials written on a chalkboard at the doorway. Food AND service was fast and delicious. I...will definitely return again soon.More

This little Irish pub is just what I would imagine it to be in Ireland! When you step into this restaurant, you feel like you’re in another country… But it’s right here at home! The Irish dishes are just as awesome as the staff who...make you feel right at home!More

No kids menu but great food! They have a burger or chicken tenders and fries that a child may like.
