Came here for drinks and dinner while visiting Spartanburg. It was packed with both indoor and outdoor seating, but we only had a 10 minute wait. Had 2 mixed drinks and 2 beers. I had the Reuben and onion rings, while my wife had the...meatloaf. Everything was great, though the sandwich could have used more kraut. Anyway, highly recommended.More

Indoor/outdoor( looks very well done)seating. We chose indoor on a 90 F day. Everything a pub should have; darts, beer, good food & people enjoying themselves with friends and family. It can be loud. Service was prompt and professional ( not guaranteed in Covid times)....Good Irish fare. Two orders of bangers and mash, one corned beef and cabbage, on pork ribeye. Plenty of food and we’ll prepared. Our first trip to Sburg. We enjoyed the meal and look forward to returning Delaneys and maybe trying some of the neighboring spots also.More

We came with our dog to enjoy a meal at Delaney's. It was hot and humid out but there was a cool breeze. We were going to sit outside, but, to our surprise the hostess invited us inside with our dog. Our server was quick...to take our drink and appetizer order. We got some fried mushrooms. The basket was over flowing and was hot and delicious. We ordered the fish and chips and blackened fish. Both dishes were very tasty. There was enough fish and chips for me to have a second meal. The owner of the restaurant came over and talked with us for a couple of minutes. We were very impressed with how enjoyable the afternoon was. We will definitely come back.More

Just moved to SC. Came here with granddaughter for lunch. Pub burger and Cork Chicken Club delicious. But even if food was sub par, would come again for fun Irish atmosphere!

First time trying this place. My wife placed an order for pickup. I got the bangers and mash with Guiness gravy (awesome). She got a chicken philly and fries, an order of chicken strips and fot our son grilled chicken with mac n cheese, okra...and fries. She said her philly was delicious and even though it was frozen, the chicken strips were juicy. My son's chicken however was very dry and tough. All in all, not a bad meal. Will definitely come back.More

Good Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas Luke warm extremely over cook omelet. Paste-like grits. No compensation on the bill. What happened to the old Delany’s? Done.

Have you ever purchased a take out order with several sandwiches and it seems like there is always a "runt" among them. The bun doesn't line up and is off to one side, the item in between the bread is skewed to the other side,...the cheese looks like it was the last quarter slice in the house, and the life support of lone dill pickle chip expired weeks ago. ??? Everyone has had one of those. Well, Delaney's Rueben was just that. The bread was stale and ready to toss to the birds. The corned beef was a cold, minuscule layer. The swiss cheese was dried out and was only a quarter of the size of the bun. The sauerkraut was barely a half dozen shreds and they put the dressing n a very small paper ramekin on the side. They couldn't even get the fries right as they were cold. They listed an Irish Red beer on tap, but they had none. At least the American stand in was good and cold, and that is about the only thing that was right. I gave up after two small bites, but the wait person didn't come back around until my brother was almost finished with his plate. He ordered fish and chips and his "chips" looked about as bad as my fries tasted. I thought they were the same thing, and the breading on his fish looked soggy and dripped from likely under heated oil in the deep fryer. When the wait person did arrive, her pleasant demeanor turn to horror when I responded to her, "How is everything?" question by replying it was the worst rueben I had ever. I slid my nearly untouched plate to the edge of the table and ordered another beer. She asked what was wrong and when I opened the bread slices I told her. She took the plate away and after twenty minutes without her returning, I went up to the bar to cancel the beer and settle the tab. She had not even reduced the sandwich by a penny so I asked for a manager. The barkeep claimed the responsibility, so I again explained. She politely listened, then asked me to wait a minute, and after ten had passed, I grabbed my brother and was ready to walk out. Just as he stood up, the barkeep "manager" and an additional staffer appeared from the back and the new staffer then again asked me what was wrong with our meals and service. He scowled, grunted, scoffed his way to the register and appeared to reluctantly ring up a new tab. At that point, I was fed up and when I saw they had charged me for the beer I canceled and never received, he gave some instructions to the bar keep who then walked to the back, eventually reappearing with our server. They started conversing so I dropped a ten dollar bill on the counter and walked out.More

Pretty good place. Loved the expansive outdoor seating! The city has closed the street to traffic and the result is a lively fun spot to dine. Great for kids with with the park and green space to run. Friendly attentive staff on a busy Saturday...night. We were in town for an irish dance competition so it was packed! Perfect weather to sit outside. Scores were a touch low as the menu had lots of options but staff wasn’t well educated on gluten free. Most irish pubs have a great gluten free Shepard’s pie. There’s sadly is not. The grits for shrimp and grits’s are not. Their fries are all frozen flour dipped. I had the Ahai tuna which was a tad underdone. I’ll take under done vs dried out. It was more like very lightly seared vs. med. rare. Decent food but kids didn’t like the nuggets. The wrap got good reviews and prices were pretty good. Very friendly helpful staff!!More

According to their website brunch hours were 11-3. We arrived about 1:50 and were promptly seated. We were not asked if we were there for brunch. When our waitress finally arrived we asked for the brunch menu and she stated "sorry, you are a minute...too late". I showed her the website about ending at 3 at not avail. I should of told her that she was a minute late. I asked her since it was only a minute couldn't she take our order. Sorry was here answer. I hindsight I should of asked to speak with the manger. We left the restaurant disgusted. On their website they have a place to email them which I did and did not receive a responseMore
