A friend of ours enjoyed lunch here so he suggested dinner. The menu was not too appealing to me so I just stuck with a hamburger. My hubby ordered the fried chicken, while he liked the chicken the potatoes, gravy and collard greens were cold....He would have sent it back to be warmed but we waited a long time for our meal and there was no time as we were due elsewhere. The service was friendly but very slow. May return one day for a hamburger if in the area.More

The three of us were seated quickly and our server Magdalene was very attentive even though the place was packed. Two of us had the Spring St plate and the third had the Crab & Salmon roll. The food was delicious.

Stopped here for dinner, was greeted by the staff that was very friendly. Waited at the bar for my table, bar staff was very friendly. Our party of five was seated properly and service was very good. All the meals were prepared properly tasted great,...the shrimp and grits was awesome. Highly recommend!More

We stopped for a late lunch at Cribbs Kitchen The space is airy, the service the epitome of southern hospitality. They have a decent wine list and great beer selection. Their sandwiches are expertly prepared with layered flavors and textures. My wife had the sweet...potato fries as a side and i chose the hoppin john salad - both excellent.More

We decided to hit this place up the other day for a late lunch. We were seated right away, ordered a beer and a wine and looked at the menu. Lots of choices of unique items. Plenty to choose from for everyone. I had the...turkey wrap amd my wife had grilled cheese after we shared a mac and cheese starter. I expected a bit more flavor in the mac and cheese. My wrap was excellent, the parmesan fries were a poor choice, no flavor. I should have ordered the sauteed mushrooms my wife had with her bland grilled cheese. So, the short of it, mac and cheese, grilled cheese and parmesan fries don't have much flavor. Stay with the turkey wrap and sauteed mushrooms.More

We stopped here, unplanned, because we got hungry before we could get to CLT from Clemson. It was a good decision. Our server was helpful, amusing and super efficient. Food was good. The recommended Spring Street sandwich was a winner as were the sweet potato...fries. The fried green tomato small plate was okay. The southwestern salad was huge with tons of lettuce in proportion to the other ingredients. Iced tea was real tea…excellent.More

I was visiting a friend who was a student at Wofford College, and she suggested Cribbs. This was hands-down one of the best meals I've had in years; in fact, it was so good I went back the next day with different friends. I had...the shrimp and grits, which was astoundingly good. The other treat I enjoyed was boiled peanuts. I had never had them, but my dad always stopped and got a bag on our way into South Carolina on long road trips. That was a new thing for me, and I loved them. I especially liked the little bit of spice that was added to the shells that carried over when you eat them. Messy, but delicious. Lots of other great dishes. Service was just right, friendly but not smothering - and the atmosphere is great. 11/10 would definitely go again.More

I came here with colleagues for a business meal, and we all had a wonderful time despite our disparate tastes. The deviled eggs and the chicken sandwich were both really good! Fun atmosphere and good service with reasonable prices.

We had the pimento cheese dip for appetizer - I thought it was very good and my husband thought it was excellent. It’s sort of like a spicy queso as the cheese is hot and melted. For entrees, I had the special shrimp pasta farfalle...which was very garlicky and very shrimpy tasting. My husband had the ribeye which was crusted with blue cheese, mashed potatoes and broccoli instead of haricot vert which he enjoyed although it was hard to eat. I tried the cheesecake which was good. Next time I will probably try a sandwich or burger.More

Good food. Good service. We ate there for Sunday brunch. People are lined up before it opens. We had four breakfast entrees and two burgers and everyone liked it.

Great service, great beverages, great appetizers, great entrees, and great desserts! It was a challenge deciding on what to eat and...drink with all the great options! As a Brit visiting friends I never thought I would proclaim sprouts!! These are excellent, as were the Calarmari and fried green tomatoes. The main pork belly deserved its awards from local competitions. It comes with spinach and rice. Reasonably priced and really good food....Also of note is the fact the burgers were actually cooked to the specification requested an attribute that seems to be lost on other establishments these days and they were really good. If you are staying at the Marriott directly across the road this food is worth the 30 second walk.More

A very cool vibe upon walking in and throughout our stay. My hubby and I came here on a weekend and got all the luscious Southern items. Perfectly fried fried green tomatoes—the arugula and grits blend creamy and bitter into the sweetness of the tomatoes....We were gifted pimento cheese bites fir being first timers and my hubby still raves about them. We each got a salad (pear and Asian noodle) to offset the fried food and both salads were fresh, crisp and just what we wanted. Ari andJacob took good care of us where we felt cared for and listened to. My hubby has an allergy and they made sure his food was clean. A great night out!More
