Most every thing was average about our recent visit; the service was neither exceptional or bad (curt may be a good word), atmosphere was okay, menu was not large nor limited. The food itself (grouper and tilapia) was good but not great and overpriced for the quality. A lot of other restaurants in the area were closed (maybe because it... More

Stopped by while spending a few days at the lake. I ate here a few years ago and convinced my friends that they would not be disappointed - they weren't. Everyone loved their meals and the service we received.

My husband raved about their 8 oz filet mignon. It was cooked to order and was the most tasty and tender piece of meat he has head in a while. We both had their clam chowder which was very good. I had the fried seafood combination with a sweet potato and salad. The blackened Mahi was very moist and tasty... More

Have been to Santee area for several years for golf trips. Never tried this place. Did so this year. Regardless of what name implies, very limited seafood items on menu. Shrimp, mahi and salmon. Menu does include some steaks and prime rib on Saturdays. Our group ordered prime rib with blackened shrimp, blackened shrimp and broiled mahi. Salads with meal... More

Wanted it to be good. Crowded and we ate in the bar. Smoky meal. Friendly service. Shrimp and grits way overpriced. For the same price you'd pay in Charleston but you'd find better at Cracker Barrel, save your money. Disappointing would not go again.

We sat at the bar so we could watch football. Their menu had something for everyone. I got the homemade lasagna. They no longer carried the strip steak which was on the menu so the beau ordered the chicken parmesan. Both were excellent. Just passing through but will come again when in this neck of the woods

Pleasant atmosphere which is a sweet relief after a day of driving. Menu offered a variety of choices and servers were helpful with menu choices. I would definitely return on another trip.

We had a birthday celebration the food and service was very good. Our server, Melanie, was right on. I had an excellent prime rib and all of our party enjoyed the evening. BUT, the hostesses were RUDE. We had finished our meal and they hovered over us, encouraging us to leave. They definitely need an attitude adjustment. Also, there were... More

After a long day of driving from New Jersey we always stay at the Hampton Inn Santee and it is a relief to be able to just walk across the street to the Captains Quarters for a good meal. There is a good variety on the menu to choose from including many healthy options. It is a good that the... More

We were staying at a resort nearby and this restaurant came highly recommended. My family and I were very glad we came here for dinner. The food was very fresh and delicious. We would definitely return if we return to Santee.
