We visited there two nights ago and had a lovely meal. My son won the lottery with the stuffed grouper - which was to die for. My catfish was a little oily but my wife's meal - flounder with prawns - was light and wonderfully cooked. For me the only downside was the venue which was like a reverse TARDIS... More

After a long day of driving from PA, we were hungry and tired. We looked at several of the chain restaurants in the area, but just were not impressed. Thankfully we stopped at the Captain's Quarters. It was right across the street from our hotel and not far from 95. A local establishment, the food was satisfying and the service... More

We had a delightful dinner at CQ. The fact that it is right across the street from where we were staying (Hampton Inn) was a big plus after a long day of traveling south on 95. The menu is quite diverse and the pouring of wines quite generous (really appreciated after being on 95).

The atmosphere was great. Food was awesome. I would definitely go back. The food was great next day also. I couldn't eat all my shrimp after eating flounder. Good portions.

Service and food above average. I had salt and pepper cat fish. Yummy. Prime rib looked awesome. Nice after a long drive. Right at exit 98 on 95 south S. C.

Wasn't sure at first when they brought out a small salad reminiscent of a roadside dinner, but the experience improved dramatically after that. We were dinning with tots and the wait staff was perceptive enough to bring out the kids meals just after the salad to calm them down and give parents time to get them set up before the... More

We ate here the last time we were in Santee. Had the Grilled Seafood Trio. It was ok, food was hot, service was good. Little pricey considering yo is is Santee and not a big city.
