I have breakfast here 4-5 times a month, always a good experience. Lunch here is busy, wonderful fries, squash is great. Reuben is one of the best in Rock Hill. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Had dinner here again last night, a twice-monthly visit, and as always, the food was hot and tasty. We had popcorn buffalo chicken with fries and green beans and hamburger steak with two veggies and everything was cooked just right, with enough to bring home...for another meal. Since eating here for breakfast last year, it is now our go-to for breakfast, with huge servings of grits and eggs cooked perfectly. The service is always great and we never have to ask for a refill of drinks or coffee. I'm giving it five stars because a restaurant review should be about quality of food, service, and affordablity and those all get the highest marks here.More
We drive by all the time, so we finally came in for dinner on Halloween. Well staffed and everyone took great care of us. Entrees have large portions and are affordable. Wife and I each had a full lunch from our leftovers. Food quality and...flavors were great. Would definitely go back.More
Have ate breakfast here a couple of times with one my friends. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Sausage pattie was mashed flat and thin, over cooked, hash browns were greasy, have to eat out of strofoam plates, coffee in paper cups and plastic...ware to eat. Hardee’s has much better breakfast for about half the money.More
I have been to the other Nishie G’s location several times and it was great. Went last night and my dad ordered bbq and they were out, which they didn’t even tell him until after we waited 20 minutes but we were still ok with...it and he ordered something else. In the time they were remaking his order our other 2 plates of food got cold. When brought to the owner’s attention, we were told it was not possible that it got cold and they would not give a refund since we had ate some, that the best they could do was a discount. Never had a problem until last night but for that, will not be going back.More
This is our go to for a good affordable dinner for our family. Always delicious (although it is pretty salty - I'd be ok if they kicked that down a notch). All in all one of our favorites though.
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! We made it the regular Thursday dinner place for several years when our boys were both younger and going to the WCCS's lower campus just up the street. I remember when this spot was a pizza...place, Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders. This is the second location for George Gallis and his Greek & Southern fusion restaurants. The food is really good. The prices did increase a couple years ago, but they had been unchanged for something like 8 years and you have ask yourself, "Have other things become more costly?" and the answer would be yes! I also do lunch meetings here. The booths are fairly private and of course anyone can find something they will like. One of the rare places where you can choose perch or flounder for your fish order. They also make a great burger and you can order exactly as you want it. They have specials and the fried squash is a definite must order. The specials are on a chalk board as you come in the door. The salads are good, with a favorite being a Greek Salad with Gyro meat. I don't know what day exactly Amanda O was there, but to go back in 2017 after slamming it in 2016 is odd, but I will say I have gotten some greasy food, guess what? It's southern fried food! The fried fish and shrimp platter is HUGE! For the prices you really get good portion sizes. The breakfast sandwich was great and I am so happy the waitress suggested tomato slices! That perfected it. Lastly, Mr. Gallis is very generous and has on numerous times run fund raisers for local groups and causes. I am also proud that as a devout man he closes after breakfast on Saturday and is closed Sunday. Because of treating his staff well, you'll see the same faces for many years. They also dress up at Halloween, it's fun family place to eat.More
I have never gone to a restaurant that charges you 25 cents for a styrofoam cup of water also shocked that a side of Mac and cheese cost $4.50 with my grill cheese . Make sure if you eat there to bring your own cup....We will not be returning there .More
Love to go to Nishie G's for lunch or dinner. Greek style food is always a treat. Today's lunch was great as usual I always get the gyro pita and the fried squash. Yum,! Some of the wait staff could be more pleasant today. Usually...everyone is very nice.More
The service was attentive, the coffee stayed refilled, and the food was good! This place is worth your time and money.
We were helping my brother move, and needed a breakfast place that could accommodate my son's peanut allergy, and was NOT a fast food place. When I called the manager was beyond friendly, and knowledgeable. On the one thing she would not 100% say, she...went and obtained the information to do so. Super helpful. Our breakfasts were all delicious. My brother and I had the flounder, eggs, and grits. I am not normally a grit eater, since that is not really something we eat much of back north, but these were really good. Last time I tried grits, it was like sand in my mouth. Not these, almost creamy. The fish was breaded, but was not greasy at all, or overly breaded. It was also tender inside. So good. We both enjoyed our dishes and portions are huge, so we had plenty to take back to the house. They have rye bread too :) which is hard to find down here as an option. My son had the sausage gravy and biscuits. It was good, and biscuits def tasted homemade. Service, was good, and so was the coffee. Very reasonably price. We def. would not hesitate to return.More
They have a very wide menu from sandwiches and salads to meat and veggies. Haven't tried anything I don't like here. Portions are large and prices are low for what you get! Definitely a must try!
As usual staff are courteous and meal is a good value. The grits, bacon, and eggs are cooked to order, sweet tea is delicious. You can eat and get out quick or stay for a while. A friend of locals!
Business lunch. Great as usual. Love the fried squash. They had grid squash today which was new. Salads, pitas, sandwiches, meat and veggies, breakfast as well til 11. A local favorite.
While this place claims they have home cooked meals and it's delicious I'm sitting back thinking no no no and no. I ordered hamburger steak plate which was served with fries. I also ordered green beans on the side. When my food arrived to me,...half of it was cold. When I cut into my hAmburger steak grease ran all over my plate. My basket of fries were also swimming in grease. The green beans were decent but they were cold. I had my friend with me and her food was greasy also. Eeewww y'all! I didn't enjoy the crowded, loud atmosphere, the greasy food or the price of our two meals! It was 32 bucks. Never again will I go to Nishie G's!More
