Small, but diverse menu. Good service. Tasty sandwich, soup and quiche options. Recommended! Be sure to sample their baked goods!

We met some friends for the Sunday Brunch. The meal was great. We got there just after the opened and went through the buffet line. They had so many choices I did the shrimp and grits with French toast and bacon as a side. It was all great and finished with some pastries. I talked to the owner and he... More

The bakery's presentation, variety and quality are outstanding. You'd be hard pressed to find better, especially in a small town. The adjoining cafe is hit 'n miss. Prices are in the higher range for sandwiches and the like. Food is pretty consistent. Service is spotty. Once it's good; next time not. Just opened later in the week.

We stopped here for brunch after church with other couples. There was no crowd which is unusual for Sunday brunch at this restaurant. We were seated immediately and asked if we wanted the brunch. The breakfast part of the brunch had a limited selection if you don't include the pastries. This restaurant does have delicious french toast, but it wasn't... More

The three of us very much enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at The Village Baker and Café in Pendleton. We had large glasses of orange juice and water and cups of coffee for beverages. The servers kept the drinks full! The buffet had a large selection ranging from Mediterranean appetizers to a full breakfast to lunch many specialties. The dessert offering... More

I was giving this little restaurant another try, this time for lunch. We arrived about 12:30, which is the height of the lunch hour but we didn't have much choice. There were three of us and only tables for two were available. We stood for a while and decided to make ourselves a place to eat. We wiped up spilled... More

We aren't lovers of buffets, but we visited the Village Baker and Cafe on a Sunday without realizing that we couldn't order off the menu. As there was no other place to go, we stayed and were pleasantly surprised. The hot items on the buffet were hot and the staff hovered around to make sure all was stocked and fresh.... More

This cafe is awesome, great location located on the Square in Downtown Pendleton. The Chicken Salad Sandwich is amazing. The bakery which is attached to the cafe has the best Chocolate Cake and Pastries.

What a great local place, just off the main street. I've been multiple time and will keep coming back. Everything I have tried has been fresh, tasty and well priced. What more can you ask for? Great friendly service, it's got it. Y'all should try this place but please do it next week as I will be out of town... More
