We ordered the low country shrimp boil for a change of pace and we couldn’t have been more pleased. This is obviously something we could have prepared ourselves but to not have to worry and prep, cooking, and cleanup made our night so much more...special. Our order was perfectly prepared and the cheddar biscuits were a nice add on. We also loved the banana pudding for dessert. We will definitely be back on our next trip. GREAT JOB!More
Picked up a medium chicken Perlo last evening. GCA states this should feed 4-6….not a chance……didn’t even feed three and we are not consumers or fans of large portions. Very disappointing. Have seen this place for years, but never tried. In order to not go out due to COVID, we decided to try the low country boil — EXCELLENT. They have the take out thing down. Was concerned it was not going to be enough food,...but the portions were perfect. Will try additional items next year.More

We ordered a couple different carry out meals with our friends and ate them back at our condo while vacationing in Pawley's Island. We had the shrimp boil for 2 and the small chicken & orzo pasta dish. Both dishes were very good. We made...a salad to go with it and it was more than enough to serve 4 adults. We stopped in to get some salads for snacking at our hotel. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We bought the chicken salad and a crab dip, both were fresh and had very good flavor, also got some really good salted caramel chip cookies. Ordered online with ease. First time trying. Ordered chicken Perlo and tomatoes and okra. Delicious! Left with 2 chicken salads and one of the dips. People need to try this takeout. You will not be disappointed!
We had seen advertisement and wanted to see for ourselves what it was like. We love Palmetto Cheese and the have it there. They also have casseroles and pasta dishes prepared and frozen for take out. Also, you can call and order in and they...will prepare it for pick up. Very convenient.More
Order low country boil for a delicious, reasonably priced carry out meal. You must order these early in the day but they are great. Otherwise the frozen food prices on the meals are grossly exaggerated. Desserts and dips are very overpriced.
I tried Get Carried Away for the first time today. We got several frozen dishes to go as well as some dips and snacks to serve to company this weekend. We ate the shrimp, vegetables, and noodle dish tonight and it was fabulous. Tons of...flavor and LOTS of shrimp! Highly recommend this place for take away food.More
Quality and variety of dishes is excellent.Most are prefrozen so allow time for defrosting before reheating.Once they are prepared they taste home made.
I decided to stop here while in Pawleys Island. I have eaten their cuisine on two separate occasions at friends' houses. There is a great selection of delicious take out meals. I chose the Seafood Pie- so yummy with eggs and shrimp inside a fluffy...pie crust. I also picked up a Chicken Pot Pie for my daughter and family- she said it was delicious!!! We both have leftovers for tomorrow. The food is pricey, but one does not mind when the food is top quality! I am sure that I will be a regular customer when passing through Pawleys Island.
