A rustic unique astmosphere, simular to a hunting and fishing lodge you might see in the mountians of upstae New York. Except we are nuzzeled inbetween twisted live oak trees overlooking a beautiful salt tidal marsh. Our three dinning ares plus two bars take full adantage of the view. Both our inside and outside bars feature wood burning fireplaces that set the tone for a comfortable and pleasurable experience!

When we arrived I was a little skeptical because I was thinking of a bar and folks drinking too much. Boy was I wrong, it was very classy and tasteful. I had the filet Neptune and this is the only time ever have I been...able to cut my medallions with a fork! Everything was excellentMore

this is one of our all time favorite restaurants when we come to Myrtle Beach. Excellent menu and service. It is too bad that they feel that they do not need to practice social distancing and prevention with masks. Maybe once they lose a friend...and or loved one to this pandemic they MAY feel a little different. This pandemic is real and NOT political as they made it soundMore

Terrific food as always. We own a place less that 1/2 mile from Joe's so we go quite a bit. Just went to dinner 1/2/21 and was really surprised that they are not following proper protocol for Covid-19. There is no social distancing - tables...packed in just like pre Covid. I did not feel safe in there compared to many other restaurants. Should have left but we did not so that is on us. We won't go back until things are better with Covid infections or when Joe's follows better protocol. I have had Covid-19 - and it is a serious deal - not any fun.More

One of the hidden gems in north myrtle beach off the main drag. Everyone that works was so gracious and honest about their favorite and their recommendations. Not just trying to push the special of the day on you. They also offer twists or recommendations...on how to have some of the menu items prepared. Never a bad meal.More

We ate tonight at Joes Bar & Grill with a few friends and had a spectacular dinner in unique atmosphere beautiful view of the marsh. The short rib was to die for on a cold winter day. Seafood Chowder was something to write home about....Drink options and menu variety was impressive, there was something for everyone to choose from. Service was top notch too. But Let’s be real about this mask thing! Yes the staff wasn’t wearing mask, Yes the people dining and enjoying their lives were not wearing mask either (how can you wear a mask while drinking and eating with friends). But let’s be real! The mask are not working, ask anyone living in California, Pennsylvania, or New York. They have been wearing mask since day one of this pandemic and it doesn’t seem to be help them any. If you want to live life stress free then stay home and order takeout. You are making us normal people feel weird with your paper and cloth masks. Those plastic face shields are not working either. Much respect to Joes Bar & Grill, keep standing up for the American right to run your business the way you prefer. Freedom is all we got left. The Tuna app was great too!More

We will NEVER go to the restaurant again. There is a ordinance in place in North Myrtle beach that every employee and customer has to wear a mask inside a business. Well guess what. They have decided they are NOT going to follow any ordinance....We were there the week of Thanksgiving 2020. Yes, during the time that the COVID cases are on the rise all over the country. Guess what. It looks like 2019 in this restaurant. Not a face mask anywhere. No customers and especially no staff. How can the county allow this business to continue to operate. It is a hot spot waiting to happen. If you don’t mind COVID with your dinner then by all means you should go. I however value my life and choose to act responsibly. So, I will never go to the restaurant. I am not going to support a business that doesn’t care about my safety.More

Came to town to visit family. Aunt took us to her favorite eatery - Joe’s! Like a few other posts - no employees wearing masks. Our waiter, although prompt, was not wearing one and was of course leaning over the table and coming very close...to all of us, as you would expect. A stormy night so we kept our masks on except when eating. Called the next day and spoke to the manager, complimenting on the food but offering constructive criticism on lack of masks. No apology offered - just a comment that he can’t wait until this is all over. Sad. My Aunt heard from another friend that they had the same experience recently. They both claim they’ll not go back. We won’t, but we don’t live here anyway. Maybe if they see business drop a bit they’ll decide to rethink their policy on masks. Based on attitudes we noted - not likely.More

A more upscale restaurant. it's def not your Outback! Quality of food was EXCELLENT! Little pricey, but you get what you pay for in quality. Portions were a little small, but the quality and freshness of the food was great. Sometimes its all about quality.
