They didn't really have many crab legs. But the food was good. I would go back because the staff was wonderful. the waitress asked us all kind of questions and just made us feel at home

Having gone to other seafood buffet locations at the same price, the food (while good) was not as varied as other locations. The staff is great and friendly. The Flan was incredible. Again - the pricing might be cost prohibitive for some families so be...forewarned before going and bring a hearty appetite.More
We went to Captain Jack’s for the buffet. Our server was Jessie and he was awesome. I have pretty severe food allergies and often can’t be accommodated at a buffet (makes sense) but Jessie and the chef went out of their way to make sure...I had a whole variety of food to eat. I am allergic to black pepper so no easy feat in a restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent. Thank you Jessie for the great experience.More
We went in and the hostess was so helpful, she helped me get some soup, Crackers ad helped my pack up the order to go! It's a beautiful buffet!
I really don’t know why is this place has a low ratings, we came from California to visit and stumble on this place. It’s literally outstanding. A loooot of variety and very very beautiful atmosphere not to mention the cleanliness and the great service. Everyone...welcomes u with a smile. The owner should consider opening in California. I highly recommend San Diego Best of luck. Will definitely recommend it to everyone we knowMore
Captain jack’s seafood buffet is a staple of North Myrtle Beach. They have been there a long time. Although I don’t eat a lot off of the menu other than the crab legs, I will say the bar of food is plentiful. The guy cooking...the crab legs has been there for a while and he knows how to cook crab legs correctly. So in my opinion there crab legs or as good as any you will find. The meat comes out of the shell like it should it is not an overcooked or undercooked, they were always warm. They have some that have old bay on them and others that do not, I would not waste my time with the old Bay version as the old Bay only ends up on your hands and not on the Meat. The restaurant is clean. Behind the building looks terrible but you’re not eating back there so I wouldn’t worry about that. During the season there will be a long wait that is to be expected.More
Greeted by a lovely, friendly hostess, Eksenya, and had a very attentive server Madgit! The crablegs were amazing! everything was wonderful!
STAY AWAY THIS PLACE IS VERY TRIFLING THE SERVERS AND MANGERS ARE VERY RUDE ! Place has a very strong odor. Food is disgusting and cold that is placed on the hot bar . Questioned the Manger about the food being cold and was asked...to leave . Stay clear of Captian Jacks See foodMore
anastasia was a very good waitress. she was very friendly and you can tell that is her personallity. would ask for her again
Ate at Captain Jack's with my friends. Good food on the buffet. Many choices. Cost for 4 people was over a $120 dollars that was whith a 20% discount. Waiter Jeffy and Anastasia were very good.
Cost has skyrocket over past!!! Try eating for less than $50! Nothing to warrant that price. As far as buffet goes the value is in being a glutton on crab legs.
We are locals and visit this establishment once or twice a month. Every experience has been great! Last two times we have been there it has been exceptional! Tonight was great! You can see the guys working hard on the line! They look to see...you are getting fresh seafood! Now I know why they were voted best for North Myrtle Beach! Anastasiya was a great server and will definitely ask for her again! We had the best experience this time!! We work in the business too so we can see when hard work and love pays off!!More
This was our second time visiting. Had a great experience and meal. The service from Annastaja (I apologize if I got that wrong) was fabulous. She was so friendly and attentive. She constantly returned to our table to clean up shells and dirty plates. Unlike...other reviews we did not think this place was dirty. They had bus people always cleaning tables. The crab legs were large clusters and hot. They constantly replenished so never had to wait for more. What food we had off regular buffet was delicious and plentiful. Feel like we got our money’s worth for sure. Will be definitely returning again.More
First. I have to say that I don’t mind paying for great food and service, but if you are going to charge high prices and automatically add 16% gratuity to my bill, the I expect good food and service. I would gladly add more gratuity...for great service. They start out by telling you that the buffet is 44.99 per person plus a service charge. They don’t tell you what the charge is. A lot of buffets in the area have crab legs, but you can opt to get the buffet without crab legs and it’s cheaper. ThAt’s not an option here. I don’t eat seafood myself, but I was with several family members who do. I can usually find enough to eat at a seafood buffet, but it wasn’t easy here. Most of the food was poor quality and cold. The lettuce was nearly empty on the salad bar. The dressings looked liked they’d been sitting for quite awhile in the bowls; I was afraid to eat them. I did have a slice of prime rib that tasted good, but that was about it. We had to ask our server to refill our drinks. A couple of other family member who do eat seafood had trouble finding anything they liked also.More
We were not told the price of the buffet until we were seated $49.95 each adult. There was nothing special about this place! The reason for such high prices was it’s tourists season. The price does not include drinks! I would think that tea would...be available as a drink. The cold shrimp was partially raw, it had been frozen and was placed out for consumption was so mushy from siting in water it made me sick. I had less than 1 plate and I was sick. I would not recommend this place- for the price Red Lobster would have been so much better.More
