We loved every aspect of our anniversary dinner. Our server Deneshia paid attention to every detail and ensured complete perfection for our meal. I hope that management will see how well Deneshia and her assistant servers took care of us. The reservation was made late...but we were still recognized for our anniversary. The sushi was so very fresh and tasty. I expressed a concern about not like wasabi (yep a sushi lover that doesn’t like wasabi, but she ensured me to not worry and the sushi was outstanding). We split a salad and being split behind the scenes before it came to the table was very nice. The creamy spinach was a great side and while very rich in flavor it wasn’t over the top. My wife ordered a NY Strip, and the grill/sear was great as well as the temperature. A meal like this is a special occasion; but I wouldn’t think twice about having this meal before any other choice in the MB/NMB/Cherrygrove areas. Thanks for a wonderful meal, environment, and added touches that made our celebration special.More

We were in town for 5 nights, went out every night. 21 MAIN was our absolute favorite… a total 5 star restaurant! Josh was our server & he was great! Our party was 7 people & we were all thrilled with our experience here. We...will return! The atmosphere was beautiful, nice bar & just so pleasant.More

Worth every cent from the bread, drinks, entree & dessert. Excellent service. We ordered 2 of the NY strips, pork osso buco, sides of broccolini and risotto and brought a healthy amount home in leftover containers. The desserts of chocolate torte and crème brûlée didn’t...have anything left to take home! The service was top notch and the surroundings were lovely as well as not noisy. It was so refreshing to have dinner conversation without yelling over taped music. If you like sushi, they’ve got an impressive menu. We hope to visit on our next trip to the area.More

Some golf buddies told us about 21 Main, and OMG! We dined there with friends and would rate the total experience 5-Star! From stepping foot in the front until we departed, everything was outstanding! Joslyn, our server, was exceptional with service and hospitality! The aged...tomahawk ribeyes were probably the best steak we’ve ever had. This day and time, it’s hard to get good service, but everyone was outstanding and friendly and the speed of service for all courses were great. The place itself was very appealing and stylish and I would recommend to anyone who wants a fantastic meal with great service to not pass up 21 Main! We will definitely be back!!More

This place is fantastic. I had a great meal which began with the Spicy Crunch Roll (sushi) which was spectacular, followed by the best pork chop of my life. It was cooked to absolute perfection and was moist and tender. It was the Butchers Block...Prime Bone-In Pork Chop with Fig & Rosemary Jam. If you even remotely like pork chops you have to try this. I ate in the bar area on a high top and had Kathy as my server. Her service was as good as the food. She was impeccable the entire night and was receptive to every request I made. She is obviously a true pro and knows what she is doing. Ask for her and you can't go wrong. Yes, I will return to this place next year when I come back down. I literally can't wait. By far the best steakhouse I have eaten in, in Myrtle/North Beach.More

This is a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. This was our first time dining here but won’t be our last. We started with drinks at the bar with an extremely knowledgeable bartender named Josh. Then we dined with friends. The Oyster Rockefeller were some of...the best I’ve ever had. Then I had the strip. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned great. This isn’t a cheap dining experience but you won’t be disappointed.More

Decided to eat out this Thanksgiving and did not want some average buffet experience or a mediocre plated service and this place looked very promising. In short it did not disappoint. The food and service were exceptional. The turkey was moist and flavorful accompanied by...sweet potato souffle, haricot verts with onion strings, stuffing and cranberry sauce and was plenty of food, including a very nice bread service with salted butter. We asked for extra gravy which our waiter promptly provided. Dessert is not included so we ordered the banana foster for 2 which was totally classic perfection. Our server Roy was very professional and engaging. Did not have the experience of the regular menu yet which was also an option on Thanksgiving but definitely want to come back soon and try it considering how great everything else was.More

For the last +/-s 10 years, 9 or 10 of my friends and I have travelled to Myrtle Beach for a golfing holiday. We always made it a point of having supper at 21 Main in North Myrtle Beach. Up until this year we were...treated very graciously. The food was impeccable and the atmosphere was most friendly. I say up until this year because this year was the one of the most unpleasant and dreadful visits I have had to any restaurant, never mind this one. We reserved for 8:00PM on a Friday night. Some of us were flying in on that day but everyone expected to be at the restaurant by 8:00PM. 5 of us, already in Myrtle Beach, went to the restaurant 8:00PM and were seated at a table. A second table had been set for the rest of our party. On our way in, we advised the hostess that some of our guys were going to be late as their flight had been delayed. At 8:30 we were informed that our reservation could no longer be honored as a certain number were late. I informed the server that I had just received a text advising that the guys would be there in another 15-20 minutes. This did not stop the staff taking away all of the settings from the second table although a third table remained intact. I guess we were being sent a message. When I asked to see the manager since the waitress advised that it was not her decision, a manager appeared and proceeded to inform us that we had an 8 o’clock reservation, it was already 8:45 and how was he to know that the rest of our party would not arrive at 10:00PM. I advised him that he would know if he had asked his waitress and his hostess who were both informed of the impending tardy arrival of the other members of our group. This made no impression on him whatsoever and the feeling that I had was that our business was not that important to them anyway. He finally relented to wait another 5 minutes. I enquired whether there was party of 7-9 people waiting at the door to take the second table, but I got no reply to that question. The balance of our party arrived about 2 minutes later and were stopped at the door and denied entry. I had to go and find the manager one more time and remind him about his agreement to wait another5 5minutes. Once we were all seated, the table had to be reset and the ensuing service was less than welcoming. I guess we had kept the servers up too late for their liking although the rest of the restaurant was filled. My plate was not cooked to the desired temperature but at that point any request for anything was met with a glare. Our total bill for all of the members of our party came to + $3,000 yet we were never thanked nor did anyone see fit to talk to us about the events of the evening. As I say above I got the impression that our business was not that important to them and if we had not come in that evening for supper, it would have made no difference to them. After all of the ravages of the pandemic and a slowing economy I would have thought that the + $3,000 total would have been of importance. I guess I went to a different school of economics and service industry.More

We attended a beautiful wedding at this venue. The location is really nice. The staff was great. The location was pretty tight on space for the reception but the wedding reception had over 230 attendees. The food was absolutely awesome. Absolutely beautiful night. Great facility...with a great staff with fabulous food.More

The food and drinks were great, but our service was subpar. My boyfriend and I wanted to do one nicer meal before the end of our trip, and while the food was worth the price, our service was lacking. I’m normally not one to make...a review about service alone, but our server made a few comments/choices that I wanted to share. First, she’d asked if we were ready to order drinks, I said yes, but she walked away. No big deal, it’s loud, I get it. She came back shortly after and apologized and we were order. Once we’re done eating, she makes a comment that just didn’t sit well. I’d finished my steak (a filet), my boyfriend had a bit left (he’d done a 16oz and had crab meat, and veggies with it) and our server made a comment about how I “did work” which just made me feel very uncomfortable and like I’d done something wrong by finishing my steak. I’ve never had someone make a crack at a finished meal before, so it caught me off guard on top of feeling uncomfortable, especially in such an upscale setting.More

Fine dining restaurant, fabulous food & service. The butter they give you with the bread is delicious, it is sprinkled with a Black Sea salt & the bread is yummy too. One of my favorite restaurants in NMB.

We had four adults and five children (ages 4-11) present to celebrate our son's 40th birthday! The service was fantastic, and the kid's menu had nice variation, from macaroni and cheese to a petite filet mignon. We ate relatively early, recognizing our time limitations (the...kids are well-behaved and used to eating at good restaurants); however, we are always mindful that they are indeed kids. Our waiter kept everything moving without us ever feeling rushed. We cannot believe that we have spent 30 years vacationing in Cherry Grove and have not ventured to 21 Main before this visit. We will return.More

My husband and I are in vacation and celebrating our 14th anniversary. We initially had a reservation at another place who told us they did not shave a reservation for us, and quickly set up a table. We were not feeling the vibe so we...left. As we were driving, I was quickly going on yelp to find something. I called 21 Main and they were able to get us in. When we got there and got seated right away and started off with a complimentary champagne toast. The bread was good and it was served with butter that had black salt on it that so good! The food was really good!! My husband got the 45 day aged Delmonico steak, and I had shrimp and grits ( menu says scallops they were easily substituted). Our server Kyle was great and knew his stuff. Would definitely come here again!More

It's pretty casual down here but this is a pretty classy place so we always wear sundresses or a nice pair of pants (long or cropped) and a nice top ... a coverup is good too since it's pretty cool insite.
