Located in a new urbanism development, Manuel's looks very inviting. The area is a lovely place to walk -- down to the Savannah River and back along tree-lined streets to pass the Blue Clay Farm where Manuel's grows some of its produce (note for kids: there are goats and chickens there). Manuel's outdoor tables have pillows on the seats and... More

We have made several visits to Manuel’s since we moved to the Augusta area. Manuel’s is located in the Hammond Ferry area, within the sleepy residential streets. Outside seating is recommended to take in the warm breezes of the south. Inside seating tends to be crowded and cramped, as the storefront has limited seating. The menu will vary per night,... More

We've been to Manuel's several times and had mixed experiences. We had a party of 6 for Sunday brunch today. We had reservations and were seated outdoors on a blazing hot day. It took the server an hour to get us our food. The "mangosa" didn't taste anything like mangos. I ordered a relatively small (but thick) pork chop and... More

We sat outside on a warm Tuesday night - fortunately one of two ceiling fans on the patio was working! Food was delicious and service was excellent! First time for me to dine here; friends have enjoyed this lovely place often. Great location.

Ever since we discovered it shortly after it opened, my wife and I have made Manuel's our lunch stop on our trips between home and Charleston, SC. It's exactly at the right point in the trip and is in a very attractive, quiet residential neighborhood that makes lunch a welcome rest stop more than just a fuel stop. The development... More

Just had lunch here and enjoyed it. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. My husband and I both had one of the special sandwiches and they were very good. The restaurant is located in the center of an area I would describe as "Pleasantville" Very peaceful and pretty. Would eat here again if I were in the area.

Great place to sit outside and have brunch, lunch, or dinner. Great food and atmosphere, wait staff that actually are glad to help. The pork chops are awesome! I love riding motorcycles there for Sunday brunch. They make a mean spicy Bloody Mary and have a great selection of beer. A little pricey for NA, but a definite must visit.... More

We were initially a little disappointed that there were no menu options available the weekend morning we arrived for breakfast. Just a smallish buffet set up on the counter. This was $14.99 per person. But, the food was delicious, the options varied and we all came away satisfied and happy. This charming restaurant is in a gem of a Southern... More

Twelve of us ate there the other night. While some dishes seemed good, the krispy flounder was overcooked and dry and the chicken pasta dish was also a little dry. Our service was very poor considering we had reservations and got there at 6:00 when there were only a few other diners. Our waitress brought glasses of wine when we... More

They have a very different menu, but quality seems to be hit and miss. Service the same. Portions are on the small side. Price is on the high side. Small location. We've been numerous times since it open at different times. Doesn't seem as good lately.
