My daughter is vegan so many times we visit Mexican restaurants as they tend to offer options for her. This place was awesome for the whole family. She had no trouble finding choices and the rest of us didn't either. The food is awesome, the place is immaculate, and the service is great. Highly recommend.

We had a great meal tonight at Abuelos. The menu is quite extensive with lots of variety for everyone. Our waiter, Mike, was awesome and attended to our every need. Make sure you get the great queso appetizer with your chips. Our food was cooked perfect and was very tasty.

After trying to decide for almost an hour where to take my best friend for her birthday dinner, I finally decided on Abuelos. This was both of our first times here. Parking was very easy because it is located at the mall. Getting inside was a lil confusing if you park right in front and go thru the front door... More

Went to Abuelo's to try a different Mexican restaurant as we usually always go to Burro Loco when in Myrtle Beach. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I believe that Burro Loco to be superior and much more fun. The food overall, isn't bad, but not what we had hoped.

Like many chains, they try hard to do everything via a very expansive menu and wind up being very good when they might be spectacular if they dialed it back a bit. For example, I had the Pork Tenderloin Agribaga. Three medallions of pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon along with your choice of two enchiladas. Pork arrived with charred bacon,... More

Visited based on Trip Advisor ratings (and why wouldn't you?) as we knew nothing about the place or the food. We walked in and we're immediately seated, our waitress arrived within a couple of minutes and helped us with he menu picking out the specialities. Drinks arrived promptly and the food equally quickly. I had the mixed platter and my... More

Typical "chain" type food, average taste on the food. Was really busy and has good reviews, I just don't get it. I ate a nacho hippo earlier in the week and there was no comparison, nacho hippo was much better. Service here was average, kinda felt like they anted to hurry you out the door because people were waiting.
