I brought a family of 5 here. Two kids had a kid meal and then we had 3 different adult entrees and 2 appetizers. We all enjoyed what we had. The kids loved the frisbee that came with the kids meal. I had the lobster bites. The sauce that comes with it was really good. The parking is an issue. I would recommend walking or getting an uber/lyft if you can.

We are semi local, always try to visit during the off season, went yesterday during happy hour. Luckily got a parking spot, slightly crowded. My wife loved the steamed oysters, 24 of them...I highly recommend the seafood pizza, I always get one and I have never been disappointed. Julie, you are a great bartender! And, as an extra perk we sat beside Don and his friend Con, very entertaining and Con shucked oysters for my wife. We hope to be full time here by July, we will visit you as often as possible.

Came here with a large group, had trouble finding a parking spot. Sign said parking in rear, so we turned in and drove to the rear. All spots were taken. Had to make a 10 point turn to get out. Parked in one of the next door lots even though the signs said for that business only. It was off season so they weren't busy. Once inside the restaurant, we discovered why their parking lot was tiny-so was the interior! Our large group almost filled the establishment. Our drink orders were taken quickly and once everyone arrived the food orders were taken. Service was fantastic! One woman in our group couldn't open her oysters so the server opened them for her. I ordered the fish tacos and hubby ordered the shrimp & sausage pie. Both were delicious. There are 2 restrooms, both are unisex. We will definitely return if/when we are in the immediate area.

First off, the service was great, thus the 2 stars. The food was just bad. One person in our group sent back their rib eye, as it was rubbery, bad quality meat. I ordered the blackened scallops and they came out looking and tasting like dried up tater tots with cayenne pepper on them. Paid for a "premium side" of a loaded baked potato and they serve it with a "vegetable oil spread" instead of butter. We were seated on the patio where there was a guy singing and playing a very LOUD electric guitar. So, we couldn't talk to each other without screaming. One member of our group actually got up and sat inside at the bar for awhile because the electric guitar was giving him a headache. The best part of the meal was when the guy took a break and we could talk to each other for a few minutes. The patio is so small, they should have someone playing a soft acoustic guitar if they MUST have music.

After waiting thirty minutes or more for a table, we were told to chose one of two available tables outside. After seating ourselves, we were ignored for at least 30 minutes, I watched other people being waited on who were seated after us. I finally asked another table's waitress if we had a waitress assigned to our table. She said she'd tell our waitress, but after another ten minutes of waiting, we still had no one come to our table. The other waitress came back to our table and asked if anyone had come. At that point, she said she'd wait on us herself. She talked to the manager who told her to comp $13 off of our meal, but he or she never even bothered to come to our table to apologize. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, but the food was disappointing. The fried fish, soggy french fries, and crab legs were lukewarm. After getting home, my daughter started throwing up, so we now wonder if on top of everything else, the crab legs were bad. We won't go back, but are thankful for the "substitute" waitress who tried her best to take care of us.

My wife and grandson and I were there on a weekday night. It was quite lovely and quite busy. They have a large selection of fish, oysters, shrimp, and even crawfish. We got seated pretty quickly, and our orders taken. And that is where the adventure began. The waitress forgot our grandsons' orders, and after we politely reminded her, her entire demeanor changed. She became surly and silent, doing her best to ignore us. I had to shout for her attention as she did her best to scoot by us. And she plopped down on the table anything we might require as she silently rushed by. The food was nothing to write home about either. Enough, but nothing tasty. And you shuck your own oysters. We left feeling like our waitress expected is to prostrate ourselves in gratitude for her having favored is with a few seconds of her time. There are many very good restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Don't waste your time or money here.

Due to traffic problems we arrived later than planned and were ready to be on vacation. We chose Dirty Don's and enjoyed our meal. There was live music on the outside porch, hand sanitizer available and a friendly greeting as we walked inside.
I ordered the fish salad and my husband ordered the seafood sampler along with great drinks. Our server, Alley, was friendly and returned with our drinks almost immediately. The food arrived piping hot and very tasty. Alley gave us time to enjoy our meal, made sure our drinks were filled, and finish our meal without being rushed. Thank you Alley!
Such a nice welcome to Dirty Don's! What a fun place to eat.

Food was alright, nothing to write home about. If you’re staying at The Breakers or other resort in that area it’s not bad for a dinner just a few steps from the beach. However, I was charged $10 more for what I ordered than was listed on the menu. Pay attention and double check the prices with your server. No, I did not order something at market pricing. Additionally, the beer I ordered I was charged $1.50 more than what it was listed for. I liked the outdoor/seafood shack atmosphere, just wasn’t terribly appreciative of the misleading descriptions.

The North Myrtle Beach is new, but that's pretty poor excuse for the quality of food and price points. A few friends got together to check out their "Happy Hour". Don't waste your time. 50 cent wings, clams, mussels sounds like a good deal, but you must order a minimum..........50 cent off drinks??? I thought this was supposed to be "Happy Hour". There is a sign at the front door upon exiting that reads something to the effect of "If you liked the food, buy the kitchen beers for $15". Really? First adjust the fryers to cook food without burning. I wanted to support the local place, but I can visit Coopers in Little River (also new) 2.5 times for what I paid at Dirty Don's in NMB. Best of success to them, but I and my friends will not be back......

We hit this place up one night for dinner right before the rush. We sat outside and didn't have an issue finding a seat as there were a handful of empty tables. Service was mostly fine as was the food. I had the Shrimp Po' Boy and my wife and Shrimp Tacos. Both were good. The kids meals had a nice added touch in that the plates are also souvenir frisbees that they could keep. Wife and I got a margarita pitcher that also came with a souvenir t-shirt. We order the lobster nachos based on recommendations here but found them to be pretty meh. For sides, the corn cobbettes were absolutely awesome. I'm not sure what kind of seasoning or what all they put on them, but they everyone at our table loved them.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant for our last night on vacation. We stumbled upon Dirty Dons (21st Ave Location) while looking for a place that was Myrtle Beaches own and not a franchise establishment. The curb appeal was very "beachy" and fit just what we wanted. The Staff were very friendly and made the experience a great one. The food was Great and portions large. It was the first place we got our kids to try mussels (Theirs are very good) We are planning a return trip this April 2020 and Dirty Dons is on our list to return. Thanks for a great finale to our family vacation.

We ate there and asked what the "whitefish" was. The server assured us that it was grouper but ... as Floridians who eat a LOT of grouper, it most definitely was NOT grouper. The key should have been the price but our server ASSURED us that it was grouper. Anyway ... the lobster & shrimp nachos were great but left there a bit concerned that no one was wearing masks. We should have left immediately but it was late so we stayed. Fortunately we were in a corner and the server didn't spend much time with us. Could be a great little place with a few improvements.

They should only sake seafood. I ask for a medium burger and it came to my table burnt. The second burger was not burnt but not juicy at all. Am not sure why they advertise Angus burgers but trust me they are not Angus. I cook better ground meat for my per dog's food. Do not order the seafood nachos that had small tiny shrimps and the crab meat was blue crab claw meat. This dish should be removed from the menu. After businesses opened back up after the Pandemic restaurant businesses need to work harder on the delivery of meals and preparation. I can't eat another meal at any of the restaurants.

We were down for a golf outing and found Dirty Don's for Happy Hour. 60 cent peel and eat shrimp were great. You could order them hot or cold. We also tried the mussels and clams. All very good and priced right. The alcoholic drinks were served in large cups and there was a more than adequate portion of alcohol. The bartender was a great guy and did a good job taking care of us. Give it a try. It's right on the Boardwalk about 200' from the Sky Wheel.
