Wonderful Hostess, Bar tender and Chef. Chips, salsa and salsa picosa were spot on as well as the cheese dip. I should have stopped there but went for the Sun City Chicken. Whoa! Can you say carry out box?q
Wonderful meal and experience and I forgot to mention Margarita's. 😁. Wil return soon!

We had dinner here with four adults. The cadillac margaritas were great. The guacamole was delicious. The entrees were generous, well prepared, wonderfully presented, unique and tasty. The portions were very large. One taco is enough for an entire meal - even for a hungry big guy. The atmosphere is really nice and the lady who served us was very attentive and sincerely cared about our experience. Ask her about the art and you will be surprised at all the history behind each piece. This is small, local, independent, established and a good value for a great meal. It's not on the main drag - but we liked that about it as well. Just be careful about the clients at the Jamaican joint next door - they like to double park you in! Enjoy.

We stopped here on recommendation from a Gold Cap Ambassador and we are so glad we did! This was the best meal and the best service we had during our vacation in Myrtle Beach. The owners prepare, cook and serve the drinks and food and you can tell they enjoy what they do. The food was sooo flavor and fresh and the portions were huge. The margaritas were delicious as well. The only negative was that we didn't have dinner here until our last night in town!

Stopped by Sun City Cafe for dinner one night. Had problems finding the restaurant, but once we did, the food and service was amazing. I was hesitant to try the burritos because they have potatoes in them, but after seeing other reviews AND talking to the waitress, I gave it a try. The waitress had said that I would not be disappointed and I was not. It was more food than I could eat, but it was great.

Let me just say, I will never make another trip to MB and not stop here...it’s an absolute must! Everything from the margarita, to the guac, to the shrimp & fish burrito were lights out.
As good as the food was, the place & people are equally as great. Brad, the bartender (owner - Cary’s brother) and I enjoyed a pleasant conversation throughout my meal, and once everyone left (yes, I shut down the place), Cary pulled up a barstool beside me as if I was a lifelong friend. I wasn’t then, but I am now!
Like the title says, do yourself a favor and stop by....the food, the people, and the overall experience just can’t be beat

We ate here for dinner on our last night in Myrtle Beach. My family loves Mexican but I am the only one who really loves spicy Mexican. We started with a cheese dip which was really good with their homemade chips. (Come out still a little warm)
I had the fish taco 1 is more than enough, my wife had a beef taco great flavor on the beef and my daughter had a chicken quesadilla. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Nothing was spicy but everything had great flavor. Tracy our server was great while waiting on several other tables of regulars. Highly recommend this hidden gem just off of Hwy 17 in main Myrtle Beach.

Upon entering, we received the warmest greeting- the decor was so fun! We were dining with teenagers and a 7 and 10 year old. They offered kids options that were not on the menu (roll your own tacos). My husband and I got a pitcher of delicious margaritas. We had both cheese dip and guacamole for an appetizer- both were amazing! We also ordered burritos which were huge and had mashed potatoes in them! The portions were unbelievably huge. All of the staff had smiles on their face and genuinely acted as if they loved their jobs. We can’t wait to go back to Myrtle beach to revisit this memorable restaurant!

Fantastic food with original flavors. Friend and I had a burrito and a taco. We have enough leftovers for several meals. Started with their guacamole which is super good! Burrito had a sauce that was amazing. Tacos prepared on a way over never seen where they put sour cream and cheese between some shells and then bake before adding toppings. Highly highly recommend. Very small friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back

So, based on TA reviews AND 3 weeks on the east coast w/o Mexican food my wife and I tried this place last night.
It is a very ecclectic property that reminds me of the peace/love days of the 60’s. a neighborhood place. Very casual.
So I ordered the chicken taco plate and my wife ordered a beef taco plate.
First, the portions are HUGE😳. You won’t finish them!
Second, I was born and raised in SoCal where there is a huge difference in the Mexican food I grew up with and that of the Sun City Cafe and the east coast for that matter.
I am not saying that SCC food is bad….far from it. I am saying that it is very different from what I am used to.
The owners and staff are good people and work hard at pleasing people. So try it and see for yourself. It’s just a style I am not used to.

This was the most satisfyingly delicious meal the 5 of us experienced this entire vacation with a hearty well-made vegan meal for me, chicken and vegetarian entrées for others. From the moment we entered, we felt welcomed as guests. We enjoyed generous service for a completely satisfying experience! Loved the artsy decor and classic rock music.

We found this place via a Trip Advisor search for places in Myrtle Beach with vegan options. It’s just a little place that would be easy to miss from the outside, but we’re so glad we sought it out. The service was the best we’ve had in Myrtle Beach, so friendly! The food was great, the margaritas among the best ever and this vegan and her non-vegan family members were all happy. Win win win!

If I could give this place 10 stars - I would! Their quesadilla is mouthwatering good!!! With sautéed chicken and flowing cheese - this massive dinner entree is topped with fresh cut greens and sour cream. I am a feasted, and this met every check in the block.
Strongly recommend the guacamole appetizer too! I don’t think I’ve had a fresher guac!!!

We read reviews on trip advisor and were convinced we wanted to try this cafe. Wow! The food is excellent! Everything is fresh from the market, and portions are abundant! It is somewhere you want to experience for yourself. My husband had braised chicken taco and I had the braised chicken quesadilla, again excellent food. We were blessed to find this little gem, you will be too! ❤️The Hills

My daughters and I were glad to have walked off of the beaten path of the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach to find this gem of an eclectic restaurant. The servers were very friendly, and the portions were more than generous. The attention to detail was noted, and they did not spare ingredients for the traditional Mexican dishes that we picked. Definitely worth a stop-by.

Tracy was truly a breath of fresh air! She welcomed us the minute we got there until we paid the check. Their food was incredibly fresh and made to order. The fish and shrimp burrito was the kind of meal you’ll crave for days! Left stuffed, but still wanting to have more because it tasted so good!! The eclectic charm is a one of a kind experience. Can’t recommend it more!
