This place knows what great service is....not only the waitresses but the guys that bus the tables are very respectable...I watched them several times speak nicely to customers and this really goes a long ways. Best cinnamon rolls and bread and hush puppies in town! Loved it!

This is one place I return to on each trip I make to Myrtle Beach! I always request a window seat in order to view the lake and try to spot the alligator! Very clean and great dining atmosphere. Before receiving your main entree, you will receive a basket containing good cinnamon rolls, bread, and the best hush puppies &... More

Went for dinner with some friends. There were 4 of us -2 couples. Got there in time for early dinners. It seemed like same menu only that it was smaller portions. I got mahi-mahi. It was good but nothing special. Came with side and salad My husband had chicken--he said it did not have any taste. The way it was... More

Very nice family owned local business of Myrtle Beach. Seafood is great, salmon and stuffed flounder is amazing.

The setting is very relaxing, overlooking a pond with gators. The unexpected free cinnamon rolls were outstanding! Service was great as well. All meals were excellent...except the fried scallops. The quantity was very large, but they tasted unlike any scallop I had ever eaten. Each time I ate one, there was a strange after-taste in my mouth that tasted like... More

We enjoyed our dinner. Food was good. I would say it's average nothing fancy.. Good portions but they fill you up before hand with their cinnamon rolls, bread and soup samples. Overall a nice place to go visit. My kids loved the alligator pond in the back. We actually got a good view of a gator. I suggest making a... More

We finally tried CH after countless visits to the beach. First I must say that they are very big on casual, I called to make sure since we only had "beach" clothing with us. The prices seem high until you see what every meal includes. Basket of breads, salad, fish stew, side, and entree. You won't hurt their feelings if... More

This restaurant has never disappointed me. It's been around for decades. The menu is simple, but the food has never disappointed me. The hush puppies and the cinnamon rolls are fantastic. The fish stew has so much depth of flavor. The baked flounder (topped with crab meat) is delicious. The servers are so friendly and attentive, without being overly chatty.... More

We have been coming to this family run restaurant for over thirty years. It never disappoints!!! Great seafood and meats. Make a reservation to insure your seat by the lake with a view of the crocks. Greet service and food. Highly recommended
