We went on a Sunday at about 6:00 pm. 2 buffets plus 2 soft drinks = $96 I was excited to try different types of seafood so we thought it would be worth it - especially since we are from the Midwest and seafood is...a treat!Nope. They do have a huge variety of food. Everything from steak, chicken, pasta, salad and lots of seafood. None of the food was hot - barely warm and bland. I taste tested many things and it was all the same - lukewarm. My favorite was the salad bar. We will not be back and cannot recommend.More

We decided to try this seafood buffet. We were told the buffet was $55 a person, hard pass on that! We expect a more elegant restaurant for that price. If you want good food for a good price go to Big Mikes Soul food Myrtle...Beach.More

The best selection and best-tasting food I have had in South Carolina! They had shrimp cooked more ways than Bubba mentioned in Forrest Gump!!! Friendly staff! Very pricey!

We have frequented several buffets in Myrtle Beach, but was our first time at this one. We thought we would give it a try after reading the reviews. We were there around 5PM. The food was just average. Despite several posted notices and verbal reminders...from both our hostess and server that we were to wear masks and don gloves when at the buffet, we observed a man at the buffet without a mask. He was at the buffet several minutes. I informed the server what we had observed and identified the person at fault, who we had suspected was a staff member. Our server informed us the man was the owner. Really? I did ask her to please report it. We were highly disappointed with the disregard of the owner for the health and safety of his staff and patrons and will never return.More

Food was OK. Crab legs were very good. BUT, when I go out to dinner and I pay a 100.00 bucks for two people I expect a better experience. The restaurant was loud and noisy with the adults talking at the top of their voice...and kids crying and yelling. Go to Captain Georges, a much better choice.More

The pictures on the website were nowhere to be found in the actual restaurant. This place was close to where we were staying so it got the nod over the many other possibilities. We should have researched a little more first. We weren't hungry enough...to make a $40 per person buffet even close to reasonable so we ordered a couple of two person boils and one buffet for the adults and mozzarella stick meals for the kids. We were glad we didn't waste money on the buffet. The mozzarella sticks were what you would expect. The kids only ate about half of their meals and tried some of our seafood. The fries were pretty good. The highlight of the boils was probably the sausage. It was a spicy and good. The clams were good but there weren't enough of them. The crab was average. The shrimp was about as bland as I've ever tasted and it was overcooked. There was plenty of food in the two person boil for a full meal of leftover shrimp and sausage. We had a hard time understanding our waitress because she had a pretty thick accent and we had to repeat and have her repeat things several times so we could understand each other. She provided good service though.More

saturday evening a few of us wanted seafood. I normally go to The Original Capitan Benjamins off of Kings hwy. Well when we walked in we were greeted by the hostess she asked about how many kids we had in the party. We are seated...and about to eat when we discover the price is $40 a person not including drinks and the menu is limited.More

To expensive for the quality received. I expected great for 39.99. A lot of the food was dry and/or unseasoned.

Fish-too dry to eat Crab legs-so small and not worth the effort Everything was bland and old and for the two of us to eat it was $95 I cannot believe we wasted so much money.

Stayed in town for 2 weeks. I kept telling myself to go a Calabash Seafood buffet before I left. So I did my research. This place seemed to be the best closet to me. On my last night I went here for dinner. Man was...I disappointed. Room temp food including things that were supposed to be cold. Everything just tasted old. The best thing was probably the teriyaki salmon and that was ok at best. I cannot believe I spent that much money.More

Don't know if they are open but if you want good seafood, go to Captain George's. In my opinion it is WAY better than Captain Benjamins in every respect. It's nicer, the ambiance is better, the service is better and the food... More
