They only have the buffet as a meal option - no menu. The hostess will seat you and then tell you the price of the meal which is $ 49.95 per adult. While we were there, I saw 3 couples get up and leave once they were told the price. Food was plentiful and a lot of choices, but the quality is good, not great. They do have crab legs on the buffet. Restaurant was very clean and service was good. Don't think it is worth $ 49.95 though.

First one in the restaurant when it opened at 2:00 pm. The beef selections were way over done and almost seemed as if they were warmed up from the day before. There were no crab legs out when we arrived, and they were brought out just as we were leaving. The cost of the meal is $49.95 and nonalcoholic drinks are $3.95. Considering the cost of the meal nonalcoholic drinks should be free. Good selection but not worth the price of the meal. Do not recommend.

It was our first time at this place and the last one because the prices. Now the good was good nothing wrong with it but I hope they can understand that with those prices they should include the soft drinks because $50 per adult buffet?? Come on for the same price you can feed a family of 3 I think this was an overpriced but well like I said I will never comeback there and also they include the tip already but 15%? Are you serious why to pay that much tip when they only thing they bring you is the drinks what a shame for this restaurant

Well to start with I'd like to mention that my wife is a veggie so when I can get her to agree to allow me and my son to hit up a seafood establishment I get excited. Most places are accommodating of the fact that families are sometimes a diverse eating group. this place however doesn't give a $h!t. There are 2 options here $50 buffet filled with less seafood and more filler or $24 soup & salad bar with only meat soups. Our waitress gave no options and was no help neglecting too tell us there was no vegetarian soups until we'd already ordered and been up there refusing to allow them to un order something they wouldn't eat. We had to go find the manager ourselves and he was just a jerk wagon. Long story short the food wasn't that great and if you've got picky eaters or kids I'd find somewhere else like Captain Georges. In final the majority of all the ala carte seafood there was fiercely overcooked!

Went here at eight in the evening on Thursday. There were five of us and the bill was $271 not including tips. We all ate and left hungry because there were not many choices to eat. Only the crab legs and salad bar were good. Most of the other things were too old or too dry. Too many fried food. We eat here every year when we take a vacation here, but this time was bad. It wasn’t worth $50 a person. The steak was overcooked. They poured all the meat onto the big tray and had them floating in the water so the steak was overcooked. It tasted like smoke leather. Sorry to say, but this place is going downhill with the food and the price went up almost double since our last time. Last year the food was good and the price was under $40. I guess we will have to find a new place to eat. When we were there most of the customers faces looked sad and unenthusiastic. No one looked excited toeat. I hope the owner read this and do something about it because I feel like I been rob some food

The food was not good at all. A lot of food was dry and tasteless (southern biscuit and chocolate chip cookie). The snow crabs were not sweet like they should be, so wondering how fresh they were. The blue crab was so small, I wondered if it was a female crab. The little cinnamon roll was black on the bottom. The shrimp veins were filled with dirt, so weren’t cleaned. The watermelon was more white than red! Granted buffets are not perfect food but this was a complete waste of money $49.99 per person excluding any kind of drink.

Trying to find a way to give a good and honest review so here it goes...... I think places like this rely on sheer numbers of people for them to be successful. If you are a big seafood fan and have some tax money left over or are just ballin out then you can afford this place on the reg.
The crab legs were good, not great, I've had bigger and less rubbery legs meaning these were difficult to "crack" into and get the whole meat out. The calabash section was overall really good ie. shrimp, talapia, scallops, flounder etc. For the steak they proudly boast over its just ribeye and is ok. Some will rave over the tomato pie but it almost ruined my wife's love for tomatoes it was so bad. The sweet tea was really good, which if I'm having to point out how good the tea was well.......
The atmosphere was pretty cool, all decorated with a serious ocean theme right down to the servers clothes which were navy uniforms. The dessert bar looked deceivingly fantastic but overall was a let down. For $50 a head, plus tax, tip I can find much better overall to spend my money on.
ps. very, very few will actually eat $50 worth of food in one sitting, something to think about.

This was very close to our hotel so it was convenient. Seating was fast and hostess was nice as well. Waitress was excellent and did a fantastic job. Food quality is the only area this restaurant lacked a bit on this visit.
I enjoy fried oysters and scallops but they weee both a bit overcooked on this visit. Steamed scallops were tasty as well as the bang bang shrimp. Not a cheap meal so was a little disappointed in the overall food preparation.

We have eaten at several all you can eat seafood buffets in Myrtle in North Myrtle Beach. This is by far the best around. The food is made of fresh to serve and they do not let their food sit there on the Buffay for long periods of time, the crab legs were great. The frog legs and crawfish was excellent. They have a wonderful salad bar I highly recommend.

We just tried getting a table - food smelled good, but the add was extremely misleading. Might be rated high but the service was displeasing, staff was friendly. FYI: 45$ per adult, 25$ for my twelve and nine year old to eat and a child’s plate 6 and under is 10$.

Don’t go. $50 for one person for the food they have is absurd. Crab was cold, let alone not even good. Bread was extremely hard. People inside don’t know how to look where they’re walking, including workers, overall an awful experience.

I researched places to eat before arriving in Myrtle Beach and online prices for this location ranged around $27 a person for the buffet but when we arrived we were quoted $46 per person. We chose to stay and eat but several people who arrived after us got up and left when the waitress told them the cost. The prices are not actually listed on their website and I should have thought to call. There is a $5 coupon online which helped a little bit. The variety of food is extensive and most things are authentic in taste. There is a decent salad bar and also a dessert bar with a variety of so-so desserts.

Wow! This IS the restaurant to go for great seafood of all sorts - but especially sweet & delicious crab legs. You will find all sorts of shrimp, oysters, fish, pasta, soup, meats, veggies and so many mouthwatering desserts! You will not be disappointed. And the service is impeccable! Our waiter was Tudor. He was amazing & remembered us from our last trip - which was a few months ago. The manager, Tim, does a fantastic job with running this restaurant. It is very inviting, very clean and you won't leave hungry. You will want to come back for sure. Can't wait until we return. Bon Apetit!!

This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve visited Benjamin’s, it was great as always. I and a few of my other relatives get our money’s worth since we enjoy seafood, but for my family who doesn’t eat seafood it feels like a waste. However, we had a wonderful server! The table beside of us started complaining once they found out about the automatic 18% for parties of 8, although there was a sign right as you walk in about it. They sent their sweet tea back at least 4 times and made the comment “if the waiter expects a tip he’s gonna work for it”. I don’t remember his name but he was our waiter as well, I felt awful that they were treating him this way but he was very kind and polite each time and when dealing with us it was the same.
