This was a last minute decision and glad we stopped. I had a spicy shrimp dish and hubby had a burger. We were done eating when live music was beginning. Wanted to stay but we were tired from traveling all day.
Food was terrible: was happy when we finally left. Don’t go around sunset as we were blinded by the sun the majority of our time waiting at a table. Couldn’t hear my family across the table as the music was so loud. Maybe they want...to be a club.More
I've come to Myrtle Beach annually for the last four years. I was accustomed to the "all you can eat" joints and decided last year to leave those alone. This year, I decided to stay further south and the hotel shared a list of restaurants....The Noisy Oyster was on it and due to the name alone, we decided to try it when we arrived.
I ordered fried shrimp and flounder. I didn't want the fries and substituted slaw. The slaw was wonderful. I haven't had any that good in a long time. The shrimp was appropriately battered and seasoned and they were large. The flounder, lightly battered and very tastey. Oh, and the service was very good.
On my last night, I decided to go back. It's a small place, yet very warm and genuine. I spoke with Lexxie who was very hospitable and made me wished I was dining in that night. I order the shrimp and scallops. Oh my, even as a take out, the food was delicious. Large shrimp and succulent scallops.
I will definitely make this an annual destination. I'll see you next year, Lexxie, with two "x's".More
Well after reading the reviews we thought we would give it a try. So we showed up a happy young girl came up and asked is for our drink order. Nobody had any alcohol. We ordered a shrimp and crab dip and a dozen oysters...raw and it was happy hour at $1.00 each for oysters. I asked if I could get just two steamed oysters instead of raw and she said NO immediately. Then she came back and said I could get a dozen steamed for $19. So I order no other appetizers. My girlfriend got two appetizers and I ordered steam shrimp platter. Her son ordered a chicken sandwich and her mom had a salad and fried calamari. We got the two appetizers first which was expected. Then dinner came out. The wings was ok, as was the dip. The shrimp steamer was real good and the salad was nothing special nor was the fried calamari. Then everything went to hell in a hand basket. We asked for our checks to pay and leave and waited and waited. Then she brought them by and we was ready for charge card in hand. She took off. And we waited and waited and then I went to the bar to get change for a twenty. I asked for a ten and a couple fives. When she came back she said she only had one ten and ten ones. Ok went back to the table again to wait for the waitress and waited finally went to the bar again and get my charge card and receipt and was so pissed I only left 8.00 tip. When I got out to the car and gave my girlfriend the receipt she came unglued. He bill was $122.00 dollars and none of us got a dinner except me. It also included a 18% gratuity. Needless to say with the slow service and the mandatory tip that was not mentioned to us, we will not be back.
We are there for two weeks looking for a home, we won’t forget this experience.

It’s a small restaurant with amazing food. We went because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on a Sunday’s. What a great meal. The hush puppies were the best I’ve ever had and the ahi tuna was seared perfectly. The steamer pot...was tasty and the breaded flounder made my daughter extremely happy. We will definitely go back next year and can highly recommend the food.More

We founf this place by accident. The only thing that was an issue was that the shrimp and crab dip should have been listed as an entree, not an appetizer, it was that big. We had the Steam Pot which was also a mountain of...food. Combining the two was amazing.More
The best Raw Bar in Myrtle Beach; fresh and large oysters reasonable market priced. We ate four dozen followed by steamed mussels in a delicious wine garlic sauce and a crab cake order...yummy and inexpensive!!
