The food here is actually pretty good. I love the pork ribeye. Tacos are good also. Drinks are weak, considering it's a locals bar. On friday night, they'll remove all the barstools around 8 - 9, then it's standing room only for the live music.

I have been to the Boathouse several times and always fund. Very casual and unique outside on the inter coastal waterway. The Sunday concert series is fun as the bands play right on the water. Crowded at the concerts and hard to eat if crowded,...More

A neat hidden find. Great view of the river. They have concerts on Sundays, but we went on Saturday night. There wasn't a lot of people there. The food was good and inexpensive. The steamed shrimp was good. I ordered a club sandwich and it...More

Normally when we go to Myrtle Beach we're looking for restaurants along the strand, and they're always crowded and usually overpriced. Was fortunate to find the Boathouse while on a mission trip that had us staying at the hotel next door. Other than Sunday night...More

We went around 6pm and it was kid friendly at that time. I'm not sure about later in the night. Also not sure about the concerts.
