It was good to be back again. Great service and great food. It was my birthday unknown to them. It was a special meal. Thanks.

Ordered a glass of wine. 13.00 for 6 oz. Bottle price was 48.00. Checked price of wine to find out the bottle sells for 6.99. Too much greed to go back
My hubby said this is the best ruth chris' hes been to so far. I loved it and our water was a jazz head like me so that was great.

Expected a true fine dining experience. The dress code expectations are clearly stated on your website and also on a large sign upon entering the dining room. The two women working the hostess station obviously didn’t receive the message. Sloppy, disinterested, unwelcoming, going through the...motion. We observed guests entering in denim cut offs, and tee shirts. Why rules if not enforced?? Food, okay, simply dropped at table…. We engaged with our waiter, had we not there would have been no interaction. We shared a steak, expected it to be nicely sliced and presented.., not hacked into 2 pieces. Who puts tomato in a Caesar Salad? No anchovies offered in this classic steakhouse salad? Overall a disappointing experience, will not return. Ruth Chris management might want to visit Perrones in Pawleys Island to see what a great restaurant truly delivers on service, food, and ambience.More

Phil was an excellent server. We had the filet with shrimp and the lamb and they were all delicious! The Caesar salads and creamed spinach were very good as well. Dining here is always a positive experience!
The service was as expected, excellent. I ordered the Tounedos and Shrimp (Double 4oz. Petite Filet) Oscar style. The filets were fork tender and cooked perfectly. The table ordered the Lobster Mac N' Cheese, Creamed Spinach, Roasted Asparagus, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Everything was delicious.
Went to dinner on 3/12/22 Saturday night and was very disappointed. Our drinks were great, salad came out and the ranch dressing was salty. Ordered a filet medium well and it came out rare/med rare. I waited for the server to come back around but...she never did. My friend gave me half of hers while I sat my steak on a side plate. The mashed potatoes tasted instant and were runny. I’ve always had a pleasant experience in the past but this was just unacceptable for a $430+ bill.More
This was our first visit to Ruth Chris. My husband had planned a surprise birthday dinner for me. Everyone else in our party had already arrived and been seated, however once we arrived, they could not find his name or the reservation. The girl finally...found it and said, "Oh yes, you're with the big party." I didn't know everyone was there, but once she said that I did, which of course then ruined the surprise my husband had worked so hard for. Once seated our waiter was not every attentive. We had to ask for refills and when he would go to get them it would take him like 10 minutes to get back. He was supposed to bring my husband another glass of wine when our main course arrived, but he forgot and once we were done asked if he wanted it then. Of course, he didn't- we were finished eating then. I could have maybe understood his inattentiveness had the restaurant been packed, but it was not. Waiters rudely kept reaching over us at the table without saying excuse me. My brother in law's steak was not cook correctly. He told our waiter who took it back and came back with it not even a min later. The steak was sizzling as if they dropped it in the fryer or put it in the microwave to quickly cook it a bit longer. My main course plate was not plated well at all. It looked as if they threw the food on the plate and to top it off it was flavorless. I was really expecting more from this place. My husband also told me I was supposed to receive a complimentary dessert which I did not get. For the prices I was expecting a lot more quality and for the food to have a lot more flavor to it. Needless to say, we will not be going back. The price of the meal was not of concern- I don't mind paying for a great meal. But having to wait 10 minutes for another glass of water which should have been your job to refill is ridiculous to me. Don't waste your time or money here.More
Went to Ruth Chris during Restaurant Week. Of course it was delicious as always. Had the filet mignon and lobster tail, exceptional. Our server Tyler was attentive during the whole dinner. Although it was my husband’s birthday we didn’t say anything making the reservation or...when we arrived. Tyler noticed my husband opening a birthday card from friends dining with us. When my husband’s dessert arrived, Tyler put a candle in his cake. Certainly attention to detail. Thank you Tyler!More
We have visited Ruth's Chris in various locations before so our expectations were high based on previous experiences and this location did not disappoint. Our wait staff was a tag team of a young lady and a young man and I am so sorry I...cannot remember their names, however the young lady had on a silver sparkly mask and I thought it matched her personality. They were awesome, attentive enough, but not worrisome. Our food was awesome, steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were great. We both had rib eyes and we had the au gratin potatoes and the brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. Our food was boxed and bagged up for us as expected and we were thanked for dining at the establishment both by the waitstaff and the young ladies at the front when were leaving. We visit this area quite a bit and I will definitely be returning.More
RC has always set the bar high till tonight, this location needs to step up their game. The Fillet’s were good not great, the lobster was excellent however the service at our bar booth was very sub par. Myrtle Beach SC
My grandson loves Ruth Chris so we went there for dinner and I ordered the ribeye and he ordered the filet mignon. I also ordered the crab meat cocktail that they made for me. The waitress suggested remoulade sauce which Ishedidn’t bring and it had...on it some vinegar and some chopped up green and red pepper. Very unusual combination. I ordered the au gratin potatoes and he ordered the mashed potatoes. The au gratin potatoes were not the traditional au gratin potatoes. They were all chopped up and had some orange cheese in them. My steak was cooked perfect and tasted very good. His fillet was under cooked when he got to the center. His mashed potatoes were good. I became ill in the middle of the night. I don’t know if it was too rich food or if the crab was bad. Also the waitress asked me if we were celebrating a special occasion and I said no but I said my birthday is Friday. I received nothing for that. Pricey place for Myrtle Beach. I paid $231 with tip. I ordered a Manhattan and they gave me a maraschino cherry in a place like that. I talk to the manager and he got me luxardo Cherries. My suggestion is when they serve the steaks on that white plate the presentation looks horrible because it’s all splattered all over. They should use maybe a silver platter of some kind that’s metal and all that residue wouldn’t show up so much. Also the plates are very small.More
I could have very easy given this review a one star because of the service but that’s not fair to the business owner and the kitchen staff.. Went to Ruth Cris Tuesday night to celebrate our friend’s bday, half of our party have been here...several times, it was my first time. My steak was cooked perfect and I enjoyed it. I loved the sweet potatoes casserole and the cream brûlée. I did not care much for the lobster bisque or the spinach dip which I thought it was a pesto sauce but that’s just me..and for the rest of my friends all the main dishes were good. I ordered couple of appetizers as starters: spicy shrimp and mash-rooms but they never came. I asked the server when he was bringing the entree plates about it and he said we never ordered appetizers which is fine because we were having a lot of conversation going on and he probably did not hear me but I did not like the comment after that: “do you want me to bring them now to make up for your dinner “? We had order steaks and plenty of sides dishes . That comment wasn’t nice.. The other thing that rubbed us in a wrong way was the gratuity he added at the end. We felt that since we spoke another language among us the server probably assumed we will not tip him..6 out of 8 of our group are/were business owners and we are locals for over 25y and few of us members of GD. We chose Ruth Cris for the experience, quality food and to have a good time, not by accident, if we couldn’t afford it we will not have come here..I understand that is hard to find good servers nowadays but at restaurant like this I expect more when comes to service. I am not sure if I would like to come back..More
