Didn't realize how much we were being charged for the buffet until bill came. Misunderstood waitress; spoke with slight foreign accent. Crab legs were waterlogged and too salty. Some fried food had sat too long and was soggy (miniature scallops). "Baby" hushpuppies were cold and soft. Fried shrimp was delicious. You'd think for $50 per person that they wouldn't also charge $3.50 for an ice tea.

We stopped here because it was on our way to our hotel. That was a big mistake! The fish fillet was dry and just edible. The teriyaki shrimp was too salty and immersed with the sauce. I could NOT eat it .
The rice pilaf was ok but not outstanding. The only seafood worthy of a mention is the appetizer crab legs for $ 25.99 for one pound from Alaska. Our granddaughter really enjoyed them. The prices were not too high. However, neither were the sides which accompanied them. Rice pilaf or fried potatoes. No cole
slaw or vegetable with the meals.
There was a basket of hush puppies while we waited for supper. I personally will never return to this restaurant!

First visit was a gem. By muself and ordered the buffet. Enjoyed it so much I took the wife for a date night. Turned out to be a nightmare. I had the buffet again, and it was pretty good. Some of the item weren't as good as remembered but still pretty good compared to other AYCE locations. Wife ordered the Lobster dinner. Came with a baked potato. When she got her lobster the meat was soft to mushy. It apparently was in the steambath too long. When we brought it to the servers attention she said she would make it right. What that resulted in was not replacing the lobster or offering another meal as I would have expected, they took the meal off the bill and charged us $5.99 for a baked potato. $5.99 with nothing but butter for it. I took the $5.99 off the tip and I took my wife home and cooked her a real lobster minus the baked potato.

The buffet here is a little pricey but if you can put away the seafood this is worth it. There is also a coupon in the books you can get from the hotel. They also have a menu to order from if you don't want to eat from the buffet. They serve hush puppies on the table. Our server Vlad was friendly and efficient, he had our drinks replenished and our plates cleared so we were able to take full advantage of all the food.

This is the worst seafood that you will ever eat a bill for four people come to $232 that was supposedly with our five dollar coupon off each person plus a 15% group discount then the waiter argued with this that it was a 15% gratitude tip that we had to pay this was the worst experience and the worst food that I've ever eaten. They did not acknowledge any of the coupons they were rude cussing and laughing at us and when we left the cash tip they made comments about are you sure you don't need that because I said something about my bill being wrong save your money don't eat at this place or if you do I told you so. We even talk to others that were in the parking lot and they said it definitely isn't worth the money and the waiters are rude so we should have listened. Your waiter will tell you that it's $35 with your $5 coupon plus you're 15% off and he'll still charge you well over that you do the math 4 / 232 58 each and that's what each person having water

Food was very good and it's clean however, they only offered $49.95 buffet options. One of the people in our party has had gastric bypass so not able to eat much. We wanted to order either a child buffet or a kids meal and were told that it wasn't possible. Sadly, they sat and watched 3 of us eat while having nothing. There should be accommodations made for those who can't eat much. Lots of people have the surgery so it's very common. Fast food here we come so that our friend can have something. 🤬

there is a coupon in the big coupon book for half price but you forfeit crab lags. If you insist on eating here I would go with that especially when the legs are just rubber anyway. look at the 20 item buffet before you order. Everything was cold people are rude and the 120 item buffet counts each item on the salad bar. I would rather eat out of captain bennet's trash than go back here.

My husband and I chose to eat an early supper at Seafood World this weekend using a convenient "two for coupon" for the Seafood bar. It was our first time there and expected it to be crowded with the amount of travelers in the area. We arrived about 4:15 and the parking lot was almost full.
We stood in line for about 20-30 minutes and you could tell that the staff was overwhelmed and patiently waited for our table to be cleaned. Our server was very apologetic for the wait but we understood. I know that the coupon we had did not include all you can eat crab legs and we understood. But I'd bet over half of the customers who used that coupon were probably eating them anyway.
There was a wide array at the three bars and they offered plastic gloves to everyone to help ourselves which was nice. I'm not much of a Seafood person so I took advantage of the well stocked salad bar and steak. I cut into the steak and had to spit it out because it wS too rare for my liking so I enjoy the salad. My husband enjoyed the Seafood. Only problem is it felt like a free for all and I witnessed two women in line arguing over some items on the bar.
We asked for our check and tipped our server well because she was definitely overworked. It was annoying that there was a photographer coming to each table asking to take your picture and then charging you for it.
I don't think we will be going back there. We will visit Benjamin's or Bennett's instead and pay a little extra for food that is not undercooked and no one comes to your table asking to take your picture.

The food was absolutely terrible!! The corn on the cob was so dry it was chewy and hard, the steak was so tough you couldn't eat it. Seafood was mediocre at best. Most of the sides tasted like they had been sitting there for days. It was beyond disgusting and we paid 49.99/ adult and 25.99/child!! Avoid this place at all cost!!!! Also, they figure in an automatic tip for a buffet. The waitress barely done anything amd recieved an automatic $28 tip!!

One of the worst seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life! Upon arriving there was a couple in front of us who asked to see a menu and the lady at the desk told them “we don’t have menus” and proceeded to ask them if they wanted to sit “because more people were waiting.” When we finally sat down and went through the buffet line, the food look old and inedible, so the family and I got popcorn shrimp, chicken wings, and fries….everything was cold! It was so hard to stomach and we only had one plate each which the entire buffet for three was about $80.00
After we left, I immediately started getting cramps and knew exactly what caused it…the food at Seafood World! It was very disappointing too because the restaurant had almost five stars in the local brochure and we thought this would have been a a great place, but we were mistaken. Please do not eat at this place and stay with something safe like a Chili’s or Texas Roadhouse.

The staff were very good unfortunately I do not remember the young mans name but his accent was interesting to hear. He earned his topline review he asked us to fill out. The buffet seafood was very good and the AYCE crab legs were fresh and hot very good quality and flavor and a large selection too. Enjoy

We went to this restaurant due to the reviews and high ratings. BIG MISTAKE! There was a tiny buffet area, not worth the $50 per adult. Yes, there was an ample supply of snow crab legs. There were seafood and other options. The crawfish tasted funny. The cake seemed store bought. I've been to other seafood buffets at Myrtle Beach. They were rated much lower. Those restaurants had a much bigger selection and the food tasted better.

Very bad customer service. There was a bug near the window where our booth was at. We asked the manager for a discount because of the insect and she said: "we don't have grasshoppers in here because there is no grass around the restaurant". The manager refused to give her name but she was a sort of black middle-aged woman with short black hair and somewhat crossed-eyed. Before the incident happened while I was getting food I was unaware that she was the manager. She tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to bring straws that we asked for to our table. I thought this was another waiter and didn't think much but now reflecting this is not the customer service that is warranted $45.

Delicious food. Well cooked, well seasoned, perfect temp. The only ‘complaint’ was the steak piece from buffet that my husband got was a little more overdone than he would like but it was still flavorful and edible. He said that meal was the highlight. We went last year and enjoyed it then as well. Def recommend.

Had a limited variety of options on the bar. The fried food items were cold, which made it taste rubbery. The crab legs were overcooked and full of water, which made the crab legs hard to open. The star of the show for me were the cooked and de-veigned shrimp. On the bright side the wait staff were very friendly. However, improvement is needed in the variety and food temperature to compete with the countless seafood buffets in the Myrtle Beach area.
