Have been eating here for years. In fact. It has been one of our favorite places for seafood. But, the food tonight was a disappointment. It was typical fried seafood that we could get anywhere. The quality of food has slipped, sadly.

Nothing fancy, but delicious fresh seafood. Fried seafood is lightly battered and not greasy. Portions are generous, but they offer baskets for smaller appetites. Only thing not to our liking is the coleslaw -- it just tastes like shredded cabbage.

The food was good. The waitress was awesome! The she crab soup was not as good as I hoped. It almost had the consistency of melted velveeta cheese. The main downside to this place was that we smelled like deep fried food the rest of the day.

We have been coming here for years as the food was always good but no longer. Wanted a grouper basket but was told not available due to increase in price, well everything else on the menu had increased in price so why not keep the grouper? Shrimp tacos were not as good as they have been in the past and... More

This place is as murrells inlet as it gets. Southern seafood at its best. Super casual family style atmosphere and seafood that will make everybody happy. From Maryland to Charleston and the Caribbean.

If you are looking for elegant dining, this place isn't for you. If you want great seafood and great souther hospitality, it is. They have fresh seafood and it tastes it. Our server treated us like she treated the regulars even though it was our first time. I highly recommend this place.

I have gone to this resturant once or twice a vacation for 20 years. This year however was a let down. Normally everything is wonderful, but this time it just was mostly good. I had the fried founder basket which was actually terrible. I did not eat it. Everyone else had pretty good food though. The shrimp basket was good,... More

We always visit the crab house when we come to the beach. There seafood is fabulous across the board. The restaurant has a great laid back but lively atmosphere of an old fashioned family seafood joint. Very family friendly. Only flaw, they removed grouper from the menu, which was one of our group's favorite choices. Please bring back the grouper!!!!

thank you for the nice review, I am sorry about the grouper, and hope we can bring it back to our customers, we need to bring it back at a resonable price, it would not be fair to you to charge you a high price, it has gotten more expensive, keep checking back with us, and thanks so much for...
