We had not visited the Mustard Seed in a couple years, but were delighted to find it as DELICIOUS as in our many past visits. I had the PEI Mussels in tomato basil sauce. The sauce is a fantastic dipping sauce for their awesome bread. We also shared the artichoke dip -yummy, and the crab cake special. Two lump crab... More

We came for lunch. The portions were so generous, it is a pity that there was no room for the homemade desserts. (There were pies and cakes to die for.) The fried green tomato salmon BLT on homemade focaccia was superb. My wife's chicken and artichoke enchilada special was delicious. Served with generous sides, too. Reasonable wines by the glass.... We have been going to the Mustard Seed for nearly 20 years when we are in Mt Pleasant, since it was in a small strip center. We have NEVER had a bad meal or poor service. This time Anisa was our server and she did a wonder job. She knew the menu well and was very pleasant. I had the... More

Small but not cramped. Wonderful menu. We aren't "foodies" and typically stick with what we know. The choices were unique spins on familiar dishes that anyone would like. Very tasty, very friendly, we will return when back in town.

We discovered The Mustard Seed when we started spending time in Mount Pleasant about three years ago. Since then we have been back several times. Our most recent visit just last week was again a delight. The restaurant is a casual space with friendly management and waitstaff. The specials are always intriguing and the regular menu options are great. We... More

My wife and I along with another couple recently spent three nights in Mt. Pleasant on our Road Trip thru the Carolina Low Country and while there we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Mustard Seed. Our friends that joined us on the trip are from Australia and like us, wanted to 'dig in' to the Low Country cuisine. The... More

This place has great food at a reasonable price. We eat at least one meal here when we visit Charleston. The food is always fresh and interesting. They even have a gluten free menu. The desserts are made at their own bakery and there is a good variety to choose from. Reasonably priced and good place to bring kids.

My daughter was visiting from New York and we wanted to try something new for dinner. There are so many great restaurants in the area it's tough to choose. The Mustard Seed did not disappoint. They have a regular menu plus a blackboard full of daily specials. They bring homemade bread with olive oil for dipping. Meredith, our waitress, was... More

I came to eat here a few times in the past years, but service used to be quite slow during lunch hour. This time we came after 1 pm and service seemed quicker. We ordered drinks and our waitress brought bread and olive oil as well. Then we ordered our dishes which were very good. The wrap seemed small, other... More
