This place is a quiet favorite off in the harbor. Fantastic view of Patriots Point and the city of Charleston. The food is always amazing and the staff is super excellent! We make this a must stop each trip to Charleston.

Just had a fabulous experience at the Fish House. My husband searched forever for the perfect spot for our date night. The food, atmosphere, and view were fantastic and Danielle put the icing on the cake for our night out. Pandemic safe guards were in...full effect with masks and tables 6 ft apart. We went early to beat the crowds and sat on the enclosed patio. Food was delicious. I had the grouper and hubby had the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. Like I said the best part was Danielle. She was literally the icing to an amazing date night. Great service, care, and conversation. Danielle took excellent care of us, giving us great recommendations that turned out to be solid. Thanks to Danielle and I think the other guy was John(?) (I think he was the manager?). All in all a really great night out.More

We had lunch at the Charleston Harbor Fish House when we were on a tight schedule to get to our next event. The restaurant was lovely- clean, with great natural light, and an amazing view of the USS Yorktown. The service was speedy, and the...food was great. My husband had the shrimp roll, I had the fish tacos, and our kids had the cheese burgers with chips. No one had any complaints about the food. My one and only issue with the place is the parking. The restaurant is behind the gate to the Charleston Harbor resort. The restaurant will validate your parking, but we had forgotten to ask our waiter, and couldn’t go back since we were on a crunch. You also cannot pay your parking at the exit gate- you must remember to take your ticket to a kiosk to pay before you attempt to drive out. Overall, a good eating experience, but the inconvenience of the parking situation might seriously prevent us from returning, which is unfortunate.More

I had no special someone to spend Valentine's Day, so I decided to treat myself to cheer me up. I went to the Charleston Harbor Fish House. I was hoping to get a table with my favorite server Crystal. There was no availability in her...section. She was busy providing great customer service and spreading smiles. I was able to find a spot at the bar and was cheerfully served by Erynn. She recommended the Pei Mussels, RibEye steak and the Chocolate Torte. Everything was delicious!!! Erynn recommended a Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose with soda. A perfect drink to end a scrumptious meal I can't thank Erynn, Crystal and everyone at the restaurant for helping me enjoy a wonderful solo Valentine's Day! 💘More

Staff was very helpful in accommodating us before opening time. They gave us options of rooftop or indoor seating.

We arrived for dinner a short while before closing and they were very gracious about seating us and told us to take our time. Our server was great, food was good and the view was amazing. We returned for breakfast (only restaurant open right now)....There was only one server, and I'm sure she was exhausted by the end of her shift, but she did a good job handling many tables. The atmosphere is relaxed and the view definitely takes your mind off any wait time. Additional Note: They do not want to accept cash.More

Our evening at the fish house amazing! The weather was cold and rainy, but it was our last nite in town. My BF knows the Fish House from his Sailboat racing days, and he just HAD to visit! We were greeted by a friendly manager...upon our arrival. Crystal served us and really made our evening so memorable!! She explained the view and what we were seeing just outside the windows. Full view from everywhere inside the restaurant, plus the rooftop deck is wonderful as well! Crystal introduced me to farro, and even asked the gracious chef for his recipe, who kindly took the time to write it down for me! What! ;} Crystal and everyone were smiles all nite, great energy, the entire staff was so fun! The food was truly delicious!! The decor was very appealing, I wanted to find some pieces they have for our home! SO happy to have gone out in the cold and rain for this nite! But I do look forward to going back to enjoy the patio doors all being rolled up to show the views! See you all again in the spring! Thank you ~More

This place was fantastic when we went there the first time but this time the shrimp wasn’t good. It was not fresh and I didn’t end up finishing it. I was very disappointed since it was kind of expensive. Either way, we will give it...another chance in the future. The view from the restaurant is pretty amazing too.More
