Wow! This bar and grill has AMAZING food and service! We came in last night for some wings and burgers. Talk about elevating bar and pub food- wowza! The wings were some of the best that we have ever had anywhere- perfectly crispy, tender and...steaming hot. We had their Chipotle BBQ and their dry-rubbed, Lemon Pepper wings. I asked our server, Ashley, if they were great, but not 'too' sweet- and they were PERFECT- not overly, cloyingly sweet, with just a little 'kick' of spice. Probably the best bbq sauce that I have ever tasted on wings. The Lemon Pepper was incredible, too- just the right amount of lemon and pepper, and crispy and flaky. Did I mention the TO DIE FR blue cheese dressing for the wings?!? OMG, easily the best blue cheese dressing that I have ever tasted- and that's saying a lot! When I told the server how much I loved the dressing- she told me that the dressings are all homemade in house- and it showed! Seriously, I could drink this stuff! Next, we moved on to the entrees- two burgers and a creamy pasta dish. The burgers were awesome, too- Angus beef, big and juicy, and perfectly grilled. They came with a side of your choice- I got the waffle fries- again, crisp and hot, and perfectly seasoned. My friend had the Pepper Jack pasta- another winner! It was creamy, loaded with chicken, not too 'cheesy'- definitely true comfort food! I had to have a taste of her pasta, after she deemed it 'swoon-worthy'- and it was every bit as yummy as she deemed it to be. I'm getting THAT dish the next time we come back! The portions here are HUGE- and the prices are reasonable. They have Happy Hour drink specials on most of their drinks- including on beer, wine, and cocktails. My friend and I both had the Cranberry Mule- delish! Our server told us that King Street Grille even carries over their Happy Hour specials to the weekends. So, now, we have all decided that we have a new place to watch Sunday football! I don't 'wax poetic' about many restaurants- especially a sports bar. But this place, folks, is not your 'ordinary' sports bar. It's a big place, yes (that does very well with social distancing)- but it's a sports bar and grill with elevated food and drinks. NOT to be missed. This little neighborhood joint gets our highest possible recommendation.More
