This place is located on a corner off of Hwy. 90 in Little River. The breakfast portions are very large, the place is always busy and if you want a cafeteria style lunch, it also available. Mama's is a no frills good food place that...is a must when you want an excellent breakfast made by locals for locals. THe staff hustles to keep pace with the demand for the food. The omlets and breakfast entrees are excellent. The day we were there, they had a cafeteria style lunch where you can go from ordering just a plate of food to a full buffet. Without a doubt this is one of the best restaurants in the North Myrtle Beach/ Little River area. In addition to delicious food their wait-staff is absolutely wonderful. Since we moved to the area in 2020 this has become our go-to breakfast place. Give it...a shot. You won't be disappointed!!More

We were so happy to find this place. We don't usually stay in north myrtle beach so we are not too familiar with local restaurants. This place was great. We had the buffet lunch and there were great selections on the bar with several entrees...and veggies and desserts. I think it was $13.95 for ayce and I think that also included a beverage. Meat loaf, fried chicken, country style steak and gravy, shrimp, bbq and more. Biscuits were so good, light and fluffy. They also have a breakfast buffet on the weekend but didn't get to try that as were were gone before then. They also have order from the menu options. We will definitely be back next time on vaca. We have been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years since we owned property in CG . We came to the restaurant after church with my husband and son’s family. They have 14 month old and 3 year old . They have recently gone...up on their prices and I understand that with the way things are going . But, what I was furious about is that they charged $3.99 for the 14 month old grandson. I fed him off my plate which is very little . His stomach is size of walnut . His sister who is 3 years old they charged $7.00 something for her to eat off buffet . This child is very picky and doesn’t hardly eat . If you have small children you might think twice in going there especially if you have several children you can rack up bill . Mama Jean must have forgot what it’s like to have small children that you have to horse feed one and then having baby that just got on table food around 9 months . The Sunday buffet is now $14.50 and there are no longer Senior Citizen prices or it wasn’t offer to us .More

We enjoy eating breakfast here, great Buffett on the weekend and the menu has great selections too. Service is the best you can ask for.

We heard about the breakfast buffet and thought we’d try it out. The place was packed and nobody seats you. Because of that you have to wait right at the entry door and watch for other patrons to leave. There’s not really any space to...do this, but that’s their policy. We waited behind one other group but saw many people waiting and blocking the entry door which is also located right next to where you go the the register to pay as you leave - this can be too congested on busy days at busy times. You can order breakfast or lunch, but we chose the breakfast buffet. It was well stocked even during a busy Sunday morning. The food selections were good and varied from fruit and sweets to several different kinds of eggs, potatoes, and grits. Ham, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy and more round out the selections. The servers are busy but keep up with drinks and refills. They also clear the tables quickly. There are several tables and booths. I thought the place would have more seating since the building is so large, but a good part of it (second floor) is used for something else. The parking lot has no specified parking spaces, but is large and seems to accommodate busy time just fine. It would be a bit difficult for anyone in a wheelchair to navigate the tight spaces inside in and around the tables. A high chair would also be difficult to navigate around unless it was placed at a table and not a booth.More

Was in and out fast service was great good prices food was great. The place was nice and clean as well.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our experience. We ate lunch. Much of the food lacked seasoning. Several items were dry as well. Our waitress was pleasant. However, no one could figure out how to charge for the buffet. While the food was reasonably priced, we...would not stop again. Perhaps we were there on a bad day.More

they never let your coffee cup get low, the service was excellent, these girls are on top of everything. Food was good but pancake was not hot, so stick with eggs and meat.
