We are new to this area and noticed there were always a lot of cars in the lot. We were seated right away. I asked for iced coffee and they don't do it. My husband asked if the corned beef hash was homemade and the...waitress assured him that it was.The menu is very basic, nothing creative, just standard breakfast fare. The food arrived and we were both very disappointed. My eggs were overcooked and the home fries were cold. My husband 's corned beef hash was straight out of the Dinty Moore can, definitely not homemade. There are many breakfast restaurants in the area, we won't be returning to this one.More
Unfortunately after 10 plus years of eating and enjoying Mama Jeans I will not be able to eat there anymore. There lack of respect for Science and the pandemic we are in the middle of is abhorrent. Not requiring patrons to wear mask, not seating...the restaurant with appropriate distances between booths. Not requiring patrons to wear mask while hovering over a buffet talking to employees that are dipping the food that ALL have to eat out of is just irresponsible. Seeing every employee with 2 exceptions wearing the mask incorrectly pulled down exposing their noses was unreal.. There lack of concern for their fellow man has unfortunately made it so I will never feel the same about this restaurant regardless of how much I will miss the food..More
Hand sanitizer was available upon entry. Not all employees were wearing masks. I had the hamburger steak which was very good. I had a six year old with me and we were disappointed at the lack of a kids' menu for anything other than breakfast.
Good food, friendly service and reasonable prices. I had basic breakfast of 2 eggs, sausage, biscuit and hash browns. Biscuit was excellent as they had grilled it. Hubby had the pork bbq which he said was good.

Yes there really is a 'Mama Jean's' restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. It's at the intersection of Hwy17 @ Hwy 9. My wife @ I found it by mistake early one Sunday morning while we were looking for a place to eat breakfast. Now is the only place that we eat when we are at the beach!
