Excellent food and great service! Such a super find while in Lexington. We love local restaurants and this one was great.

Read a review that wasn't so kind and really dogged the Reuben. Wow, you can't believe everything you read. Went today. Kalin was my server...she was excellent. Stayed on top of the quality check and my drink. Now, I would highly (I mean highly) recommend...the Reuben. If you get the chance, GO! Christine L.More
Ate here for the first time tonight! Spinach dip was a special appetizer AND it needs to be added to the menu for EVERY DAY! Outrageously good! I had the veggie wrap no wrap and that was good! My friend had a turban which she...said was messy but delicious too! Service was superb! Going back for sure!!!! Got there early and when we left… tons of people waiting!!!!More
Always and consistent quality food with great service. A gem in downtown Lexington. Try the pizza, you won't be disappointed and the Libby Burger done as ordered.
We has the bruschetta and the Philly steak sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was efficient. It was crowded but we got right in.
Real, homemade food that just tastes good. I greatly enjoyed my visit here, from the friendly service to the not-phoned-in beer selection, to the great wrap that felt like I was eating something much more substantial. Last but not least the fries were fantastic! Fresh...cut, amazing. Would return.More
We can certainly see how these folks earn such high ratings. Angie took great care of us and the food was yummy. We sat outside and it was quite pleasant. Keep up the great work!
We found Libby's on Tripadvisor on our GPS on our way to an event. It proved to be an outstanding find. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean and employees with whom we came in contact were friendly and very helpful....Our server was excellent. I had the Libby burger and homemade fries. The burger was large, really good, no gristle, perfectly cooked and the fries were not the least bit greasy. My husband tends to order Rueben's very often when we travel. He asked to speak to the one who prepared it and told him it was the best he had ever had. That was quite a compliment because he has had Rueben's s from Florida to Canada and even out west. We will definitely return when we are in the area.More
Libby’s is our go-to for good food. We had our son’s graduation party here, as well as many, many family dinners. My favorite is the Folly Platter or the Ruben from the menu, or the spicy chicken sandwich from the specials. I also love the...pork chop . Ok, maybe I like ALLLL of it! We like the outdoor dining option no matter the season because it is heated in the winter time and nice ventilation in the summer.More
My family and I visit Libby's at least 2 to 3 times a month for lunch or dinner. The food is always fabulous and they have a fantastic wait staff. The wait staff is always super friendly and go above and beyond. I have never...received a bad meal. Everything from appetizers to desserts are great. They have the biggest cake slices I have ever had. You won't be disappointed!!More
Based on the reviews, stopped in for lunch while in town. Being 11:30 on a Saturday, figured it wouldn’t be busy. Boy was I wrong and I can see why. We had the shrimp po boy sandwich and the fish tacos. Both were awesome. The...lady who assisted us described perfectly the amount of heat I could expect for the tacos so I substituted plan sour cream. If we are ever in Lexington again, we will return to Libby’s. We would highly recommend to everyoneMore
I’ve tried many of their dishes, including the Carolina Ruben; all of which are extremely good. I must say, however, that my absolute favorite dish is the Folly Beach Shrimp. The batter is like a Southern style tempura. It is light, crisp and absolutely delicious....And that lime, caper tartar sauce is absolutely brilliant. I always get a side of the fries and coleslaw. The fries are done to perfection along with being perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw is neither sweet nor tart. It’s just light and refreshing. It’s almost 100 miles, round trip, from our house in Lugoff, SC, to Libby’s. As a retired executive chef from New York City/Long Island, NY, I can say ‘yes,’ the food is that good. Keep up the good work and God bless.More
I spent a couple of days visiting a friend who lives near Lexington SC. For lunch one day we went to Libby's of Lexington. They have inside and outside dining but it was too warm to sit outside. We entered via the side door and...walked by the kitchen area. It was strange but for some reason they didn't want anyone going in/out of the front door. They have an interesting menu so it took me a while to decide. I selected the Ruben sandwich since I hadn't had one in a while; and a side of pasta salad. The meat was piled high on my sandwich. The bread was nicely grilled. The sandwich could have used a little more sauerkraut and 1000 Island Dressing, but overall, and excellent sandwich that filled me up. The pasta salad was just okay, so I only had a couple of bites. It was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor. My friend had the Asian Steak Wrap along with fries - I should have ordered the fries, as they were crispy and seasoned well. It's one of her favorite wraps at this place. The prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. My sandwich and side of pasta salad was only $8.95! This place is a local favorite and when we were half way through our meal, all of the tables were filled. Our server was friendly and prompt. I definitely want to visit this place again.More
We have eaten at Libby's many times during our first year in the area and have had many good sandwiches and wraps, but nothing stellar. This time, we decided to try their pizza and thought it was the best menu item we've had at Libby's...and the best in the area so far. The two of us shared the the Fried Green Tomato appetizer and the Italian Stallion Pizza. There were eight pieces to the fried green tomatoes and the pizza was cut into six pieces. It was the perfect amount of food for two people and both were very good. Our service was very good; the only thing keeping me from a 5-Star rating is the dining areas could be much nicer, especially the patio situated in the drive-way and covered in dusty plastic.More
Been meaning to try this place for awhile and finally did. Went there a month ago for a late lunch and......asked to speak to the owner. Was told he was there then no he wasn't there. So asked if I could leave a message, yes,...and left him a short note and asked that he call. Here we are 4 weeks later and no call. I had planned to talk with him and not post this review but.... Apparently the front door is no longer used. That means one enters through the side and right trough the kitchen. Interesting. We were seated at the table directly outside the opening to the kitchen, even though there many were other tables available. The service was good, quite pleasant and competent server. The food was decent and deserves another visit. The background music was good but unfortunately it was drowned out by the loud music and clamor in the kitchen. If that wasn't enough, someone was trying to sing. Then...uhhhh.... someone decided to dust clean the louver style blinds on the front windows, and then was sweeping under the tables, even the one right next to us. That was just nasty.More
