Libby's is hands down the best restaurant in the state of South Carolina. We go at least once a week. The chef prepares creative, delicious dishes daily! All dishes are filled with fresh Ingredients daily. The chef and entire staff make you feel like family. It is the one outing I anticipate every week! It's a Must Have Experience.

Real, homemade food that just tastes good. I greatly enjoyed my visit here, from the friendly service to the not-phoned-in beer selection, to the great wrap that felt like I was eating something much more substantial. Last but not least the fries were fantastic! Fresh cut, amazing. Would return.

Based on the reviews, stopped in for lunch while in town. Being 11:30 on a Saturday, figured it wouldn’t be busy. Boy was I wrong and I can see why. We had the shrimp po boy sandwich and the fish tacos. Both were awesome. The lady who assisted us described perfectly the amount of heat I could expect for the tacos so I substituted plan sour cream. If we are ever in Lexington again, we will return to Libby’s. We would highly recommend to everyone

We are new to the area and are working our way through the many local restaurants. We decided on Libby’s for lunch and had a nice meal on their patio. Note both patio and restaurant have completely flat entrances for disabled guests which is really nice! Our server was nice and food arrived fast. I really appreciate that they use locally sourced fresh food. My husband loved his Shrimp Po’boy ($11) with its delicious lime caper tartar sauce. I enjoyed my Carolina Rueben ($10) which is a Rachel with bacon though it Both came with a side and I liked their French Fries because they were crisp. I also liked that you can add onions, cheese and other toppings to your sandwiches for 50 cents which is good because the burger and chicken sandwich come without cheese. This one goes on the Keeper List.

I spent a couple of days visiting a friend who lives near Lexington SC. For lunch one day we went to Libby's of Lexington. They have inside and outside dining but it was too warm to sit outside.
We entered via the side door and walked by the kitchen area. It was strange but for some reason they didn't want anyone going in/out of the front door.
They have an interesting menu so it took me a while to decide. I selected the Ruben sandwich since I hadn't had one in a while; and a side of pasta salad. The meat was piled high on my sandwich. The bread was nicely grilled. The sandwich could have used a little more sauerkraut and 1000 Island Dressing, but overall, and excellent sandwich that filled me up.
The pasta salad was just okay, so I only had a couple of bites. It was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor.
My friend had the Asian Steak Wrap along with fries - I should have ordered the fries, as they were crispy and seasoned well. It's one of her favorite wraps at this place.
The prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. My sandwich and side of pasta salad was only $8.95!
This place is a local favorite and when we were half way through our meal, all of the tables were filled.
Our server was friendly and prompt.
I definitely want to visit this place again.

My wife and I decided to return for our first visit in about 18 months. We sat on the patio and the weather was nice. The server forgot to bring silverware and menus so we ordered the shrimp and grits special and the Folly shrimp and oysters. The wine list is Chardonnay, merlot , Cabernet and there mis really no wine list. The shrimp and grits were superb, as was the accompanying salad. My wife’s shrimp and oysters were fried perfectly. The food is superb, but still a few improvements could be made. We will definitely return.

Ate here for the first time tonight! Spinach dip was a special appetizer AND it needs to be added to the menu for EVERY DAY! Outrageously good! I had the veggie wrap no wrap and that was good! My friend had a turban which she said was messy but delicious too! Service was superb! Going back for sure!!!! Got there early and when we left… tons of people waiting!!!!

Libby’s is our go-to for good food. We had our son’s graduation party here, as well as many, many family dinners. My favorite is the Folly Platter or the Ruben from the menu, or the spicy chicken sandwich from the specials. I also love the pork chop . Ok, maybe I like ALLLL of it!
We like the outdoor dining option no matter the season because it is heated in the winter time and nice ventilation in the summer.

I’ve tried many of their dishes, including the Carolina Ruben; all of which are extremely good. I must say, however, that my absolute favorite dish is the Folly Beach Shrimp. The batter is like a Southern style tempura. It is light, crisp and absolutely delicious. And that lime, caper tartar sauce is absolutely brilliant. I always get a side of the fries and coleslaw. The fries are done to perfection along with being perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw is neither sweet nor tart. It’s just light and refreshing.
It’s almost 100 miles, round trip, from our house in Lugoff, SC, to Libby’s. As a retired executive chef from New York City/Long Island, NY, I can say ‘yes,’ the food is that good. Keep up the good work and God bless.

My family and I visit Libby's at least 2 to 3 times a month for lunch or dinner. The food is always fabulous and they have a fantastic wait staff. The wait staff is always super friendly and go above and beyond. I have never received a bad meal. Everything from appetizers to desserts are great. They have the biggest cake slices I have ever had. You won't be disappointed!!

Perfect family restaurant especially when you can sit outside. We have never had a bad meal here (20+ visits). Quick service, friendly staff. Our favorites are the Philly cheese steak, shrimp po boy and the cole slaw.

I pulled up for a delivery with postmates and they were super friendly and helpful. Even offered me a drink while I waited. Please don't hesitate to check them out. Food smells amazing hot and fresh to order. Just perfect! Very attentive to detail! customer service is a definite plus here. You won't be disappointed. I promise!

Great food and service are what we expected and that was what we experienced. We had lunch on the porch and social distancing was observed. That is important since I am 75. I really appreciate restaurants following proper protocols during this time. I had the fish and chips and my spouse had a chicken wrap. Both were prepared well and were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
