My first visit was Saturday brunch where I was served eggs Benedict cooked to a hard boil in some type of mold and cold instant Hollandaise sauce. I sent it back, with no improvement. About three months later I gave this place another chance because...More

I am truly sorry about your experience and it's certainly not what we like our customers to to take away. I make the hollandaise every Saturday morning and I assure you it's made with fresh butter, lemon juice, white wine, egg yolks a little cayenne...More

I go about once a month, for their soup & House Salad for dinner, but I wanted to try something different. So Suzanne suggested I try one of their “new pizzas”, from their wood-fired pizza oven, I did, I had the wild mushrooms pizza and...More

Stone Soup is a great stop for a quick lunch or a fancy dinner, Their sandwiches are delicious, but save room for dessert-yum! Their recent remodel had given a nice trendy atmosphere and the outside dining is a great option when the weather allows.

Really good food. Everything I have ever gotten has been wonderful. Now there is a dog park behind them so you can sit outside and watch dogs play. It's a nice place to have in town.

Attentive, friendly wait staff. My friends enjoyed their thin crust pizzas. My pimento cheese sandwich was good but filling was thin. Good place for lunch.

Friends joined us for lunch and we had a great time. The atmosphere is lively but we contributed to it. I really enjoy the shrimp and grits with shitake mushrooms and spinach. The grits were creamy and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Everyone else...More

One of the stores in downtown recommended this place for lunch, Big mistake. Service was SLOW. Place not that busy. Seated at a rocky table and then then surrounded us with noisy groups. Salads ok. Pizza a complete rip off. Paper thin with about 25...More

Restaurants like this are why Trip Advisor is so helpful. The wife’s stomach was grumbling and we stopped at next exit in Landrum. Roadside signs had limited offerings and we saw Stone just 1/2 mile from I-26. We were happy to find a lovely cottage...More

This was our second visit to Stone Soup and we enjoyed everything about it. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my friend had the tomato pie. We sampled each other's dish, and they were both excellent! The tomato pie was flavorful, creamy and delicious and...More

I am so sorry that was your experience. Obviously, it's not the one we wanted you to have. As far as flooding, we have a front room that was an outside patio and was enclosed. It was never design to be part of the dining...More
