One of the best meals I’ve had in my life. The beef skewers were perfectly seasoned, and the risotto was just right. I will return, soon I hope.

We joined two other couples during art fields to eat dinner at treno. It was my husband's birthday and we hoped for a special meal. The waitress, although sweet, seemed clueless. I asked about gluten free meal options, and she said she didn't know. She...went to the kitchen and came back and said that there were none. When I asked what was on the salmon or the beef kabobs to make them not gluten free, she disappeared again, came back and said there is cross contamination. She said the salad and sides were not gluten free either. I ordered anyways. They brought out 5 of our meals, but forgot to bring my husband's meal. He waited 10 minutes more for his entree. The food was good, and they did comp my husband's dinner. The waitress never cleared our dishes, and asked us to pay before we finished eating. I think the chef should have helped the waitress more, and come out to talk with me, and the waitress needed some direction!More
The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious. Service was on point. Upscale elegance. Dress up and make it a dinner with your significant other! Patio was worth sitting, weather permitting
Not busy on a Tuesday night so we had the entire place to ourselves. Don't understand this because the food was spectacular. She crab soup was full of crab, creamy and delicious. Everyone at the table was very pleased with every aspect of the dinner....Chocolate creme brulee was to die for. Our server was friendly helpful and attentive. Would go back!More
We were traveling south from New England on I-95 after Thanksgiving and wanted to find a midway spot to meet my sister from Myrtle Beach for dinner. Found Crossroads on Main in Lake City on Trip Advisor. What a gem this restaurant is! The dining...area is lovely (and we’ll have to return when we can enjoy the outdoor courtyard) and the food was delicious. Don’t miss the she-crab soup. Our server, Marla, was attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend this restaurant for travelers and guests at the Crossroads Inn.More
Had dinner in the courtyard Friday July 19, ordered a pimento cheeseburger from the bar. It was great. The staff were very attentive, especially since I was seated outside in the heat. I was there to listen to friends who were there to provide live...music for the evening. It was an all around great experience!More

I’ve visited the Inn over the years and have been consistently disappointed. I can finally say everything has changed for the better. The separation of the bar and restaurant allows dining away from the local bar crowd and is greatly appreciated. The service was attentive...and friendly. The food specials were creative, perfectly prepared, and beautifully plated. Chef Chris came out to answer our questions about rattlesnake beans and explained sourcing from the community garden; we loved this and appreciated the touch of Southern. It was the best experience we’ve had at the Inn and will return.More

Let's start with the positive. The atmosphere is excellent! The dining area is eclectically decorated with a mixture of art and random items. The decor leaves the diner feeling quite comfortable and provides plenty to chat about while waiting for your meal. The food is...good, not great, yet falls short of what they are charging. (I added a side of asparagus for $7 because the meal only came with a side salad.) I had the Margarita flat bread and the She Crab soup (both had good flavor but the soup was served a bit cool). My steak was severed with chateaubriand sauce, which was very good, but the meat was more rare than the medium rare that I ordered. I finished my my dinner with the Crème Brûlée which was served beautifully and tasted good. The service definitely needs improvement. Our server alternated between ignoring us and insulting us. More than once she checked on us to see how we were doing only to suggest that we must really like the food because we had eaten a lot (that was after dining for an hour). I would highly recommend this place if you are more concerned about the atmosphere than you are about the value of your meal and the service you're receiving. Please let me know if you found this helpful!More
