We rode our bikes over one evening for some ice cream. They only have 8 flavors daily, so not a lot to choose from, however the flavors we got were very good. I had the praline and it was among the best I've had. If you're staying in the villas it is a very quick bike ride to get there.... More

Average ice cream joint, less $$ than ice cream at the Sanctuary. Basic flavors, nothing fancy. Great paired with the West Island pool!

The size of the scoop was disgraceful, but the service was even worse. The bill was $16 for four of the smallest scoops I've ever seen. The staff were sullen and unfriendly and it was quite a disappointment for my family visiting from Scotland. This was our first and last visit to this "ice cream parlor".

This is convenient but I've had much better ice cream. It was pretty average and we had hoped for something more. There were a variety of toppings which were great for our 7 year old.

We've been coming to Kiawah Island for 15 years and always bike to this ice cream shop during the week we are here. This year, the employees were very unfriendly and stand-offish. They couldn't be bothered with any kind of pleasantries or even crack a smile. The ice cream is wonderful and the price isn't horrible, but the employees leave... More

When my family first went it was because another ice cream parlor was closed that we were told would be open. When we called front desk back and informed them of this they told us to go to inn-side scoop and they would wait until we got there. We arrived at 10:01 PM (they close at 10), they had already... Cute ice cream shop with a nice variety of flavors. The ice cream is nice, but not fabulous. No seating inside, but close enough to the beach where you can get a scoop and go for a nice beach stroll.

Suggestion...walk or drive to FreshFields Village (3 miles) and go to Harris Teeter and buy a pint of ice cream. Much cheaper than the Scoop!

We stayed at Shipwatch so it was an easy couple minutes walk to Inn-Side Scoop. There were enough flavors to choose from that we had trouble deciding. The gal who scooped our cones was very kind and, unlike many of the previous reviews, I thought the size of the cone was consistent with the price. My husband felt it was... More

I understand being on a resort you will pay more than other places, but for nearly $4 a cone the amount of ice cream was embarrassing. After receiving one of the ultra skimmpy scoops, I asked the girl working there if that was normal and her response had to do with not adding more to avoid the cone from cracking.... More
