We took family that was visiting here one weekend and we all enjoyed our meal. Everything was good, however my sister ordered the french toast which was by far the best of any of our's. Service was good and there was plenty of variety on the menu for any cravings.

I had an early lunch here - about 11:00 am. Most people were eating breakfast. Their breakfasts were huge and looked really good. My waitress, Sara, was very friendly and helped me decide between two dishes. I got the "Harley Hog" pulled pork BBQ sandwich with a side of fried okra. The sandwich was very large and was far from... More

Appears to be a dive on entry, but you will quickly realize that the menu is excellent, the food is awesome and the service is very good. One of our favorite spots for breakfast in the area. Prices are very reasonable as well.... you will not be disappointed.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast - my husband had an amazing friend green tomato omelet with collards on the side and loved it. I had the fried green tomato, pimiento cheese & bacon sandwich grilled on rye bread - Oh my! Had to bring half of it home. SO delicious. Great coffee. Oh, and did I mention the homemade corned beef... More

We wanted to go out for breakfast on Labor Day and every place was crowded. Sweetwater Cafe told us it would be a twenty minute delay but it was more like 30. We sat and the coffee was excellent. I ordered the special omelette that was salami and cheese and it was delicious. My husband had a sausage and cheese... More

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day? If you believe this this is your spot. I love breakfast but not the fast food breakfast choices. This place is just as friendly to a solo customer as a large group. The pecan waffles are superb. French toast is also great. They have the BEST grits. If you are visiting... More

Stopped for a quick breakfast on my way out of town. Ordered a basic meal of eggs, grits and toast. Service was very good and attentive, food came very fast. They had a big menu so lots to choose from for breakfast and lunch. Very reasonable prices.

The pecan crusted French toast were so yummy paired with bacon and summer fruit. I would definitely visit this place again. It was very crowded and a locals favorite!

You'd think in a seaside town, on an island, on a road headed for the beach, it'd be easy to get a decent shrimp po' boy. Not so easy. The shrimp tasted bland & frozen. The sauce gave me heartburn and the bread was stale. Couldn't finish it. If Roadside Seafood hadn't been slammed, I'd never have bothered... and won't... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast. My grits were perfect. My eggs and toast were perfect. The only thing I didn't care for was the bacon because it tasted hickory smoked (so my husband ate it and loved it). The fruit bowl was also very good and fresh. We ate there several times while we are at Folly Beach.
