Breakfast is the most important meal of the day? If you believe this this is your spot. I love breakfast but not the fast food breakfast choices. This place is just as friendly to a solo customer as a large group. The pecan waffles are superb. French toast is also great. They have the BEST grits. If you are visiting... More

Stopped for a quick breakfast on my way out of town. Ordered a basic meal of eggs, grits and toast. Service was very good and attentive, food came very fast. They had a big menu so lots to choose from for breakfast and lunch. Very reasonable prices.

The pecan crusted French toast were so yummy paired with bacon and summer fruit. I would definitely visit this place again. It was very crowded and a locals favorite!

You'd think in a seaside town, on an island, on a road headed for the beach, it'd be easy to get a decent shrimp po' boy. Not so easy. The shrimp tasted bland & frozen. The sauce gave me heartburn and the bread was stale. Couldn't finish it. If Roadside Seafood hadn't been slammed, I'd never have bothered... and won't... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast. My grits were perfect. My eggs and toast were perfect. The only thing I didn't care for was the bacon because it tasted hickory smoked (so my husband ate it and loved it). The fruit bowl was also very good and fresh. We ate there several times while we are at Folly Beach.

I went to this restaurant based on great reviews on TA. The place is old and run down. Inside the tables are small and very close together. We ordered coffee and the cup stuck to the table. The grits had a big lump of goo in them - I asked the server about it and she said it was part... More

Super nice staff. The best breakfast all day. Excellent biscuits, creamy grits. A great filling breakfast at a good price. Parking is limited, folks park along the side street. Well worth it! Will be back.

Ate dinner here on the way back to Charleston from Folly Beach. What a great find. The building, quite frankly, doesn't look like it would be great but oh my the food is delicious. We had two of the best burgers ever. Wait staff efficient and friendly. Food was so good we actually went back for lunch the next day... More

We happened upon Sweetwater Cafe for breakfast. We were looking for a place that was not a chain. We hit the jackpot! The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. The coffee was great and our salmon and grits were incredible. Some of the best I have ever eaten. We highly recommend this little cafe.

This cafe was the first place I ate at when I moved here a few days ago! Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name!) was so sweet! She really exceeded our needs. The food was delicious and my cappuccino hit the spot! Thanks for the great service and great food! I highly recommend this Cafe :)
