Very good service. Very good chili. Also had the French dip sandwich. The au jus was good. Nice lunch spot. Michigan fans will like the decor.

We were on a bike ride around the island and stopped for lunch. It was a good place to refuel and continue on our ride. Husband had the patti melt and loved it. I have a fish sandwich and loved it as well. Go for...it when you are in the area.More

After many visits, they still have consistently good food and good value. They also have very good on-line ordering and pick-up . Try the calamari, or the blackened chicken taco salad. The seasonally available pot roast is very good.

Food and drinks was fantastic. The drink was worth the money! The fish I had was done very well and it's delicious. Something that everyone should try.

We stopped in with a family member for a late lunch, and had a very pleasant time. The facility is clean and well-maintained; with an upscale cafe ambiance. Our server was friendly and attentive. The parmesan encrusted daily catch, seafood chowder and queso Blanco provided...for a tasty and satisfying meal. I ordered a club sandwich with cole slaw. What I got was a turkey sandwich! A club sandwich when done right and with care is pure artistry. Filling the platter with barely enough room for the side. The side was adequate but you absolutely must...love mayonnaise as it overwhelmed what slaw there was. This was my first time there and it was not overly busy. The service was adequate but it did not overcome my great disappointment in the presentation and quality of the sandwich. I see no reason to return.More

I am a local and regular customer. There is always a great meal and you never meet a stranger! Their specials vary and each one is better than the other.

Met friends for dinner .... we all have busy schedules and decided it was too long since we just met up and caught up. We are a diverse group ... who drinks wine, who drinks ice tea and who drinks an alcoholic beverage ...not to...mention the differences in our food choices .... well Main Street Cafe always makes us happy .... we seem to always find the perfect meal or appetizer and always enjoy the chatter with the staff, bartenders and each other ....always a great nightMore

I'm a fair reviewer and I dine out very often. The food was absolutely delicious. The host was so nice. But when our server got to our table and we asked him how recommendations, he rolled his eyes- we should've left then. Our server's attitude...seemed like he was so bothered by us, that we were annoying him, and that he was just not in the mood. We saw this attitude displayed to toner tables he served, too. People flagging him down, him looking directly at him and him not acknowledging them. He rolled his eyes every single time he came to our table. We should have left but my kids were so hungry so we stayed. I wanted the pie so bad but, I didn't want to give the restaurant another cent of my money. We had the shrimp wrap, salmon bowl, and cauliflower buffalo wings- allll delicious. But it overshadowed the awful service. Our food came even came quickly and they have signs saying they're short staffed. I was shocked! The bus boys and young lady that brought our food to the table were soooo nice. This restaurant needs to get rid of that guy. He's truly dampening the experience. We will NEVER go back.More
