With mixed reviews, we decided to try it. Tuesday night is "low country boil" night. $14.99 for snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob . My wife đź’ž loved it. The crab legs were fresh ,meaty and tasty. The shrimp were large and also delicious. My burrito was served hot and tasty and smothered in queso, although I prefer more spice. The salsa was also average, slightly bland. Service was very good. Our server vwas friendly and attentive. How could you go wrong for $14.99 low country boil? Highly recommend

We were visiting from Florida and were captivated by the name of this Mexican restaurant. We found the setting comfortable and relaxing. Our server was Joel, who is one of the finest servers I have had in any restaurant. Joel monitored our drinks, provided a vivid description of the menu items, kept the entrees, meals and dessert moving on time. Do not pass up an entree or desert at Aunt Chiladas. They are wonderful. The food was excellent, and in very satisfying portions. From the seasoning of the entree to the delicious desert everything was all you could ask for. I had the best burrito ever. The price was very reasonable. No more than we would have paid in a lesser establishment.

We made a visit to Aunt Chiladas during our recent stay during the RBC Heritage golf tournament. We arrived fairly early and had a choice of sitting at a table/booth, or the bar. We opted to start at the bat, and then just stayed there. The bartendresses were fantastic. The margaritas flowed nicely, pairing well with the "Famous Street Corn Bites" which we both loved. Sadly, they were out of the makings for tamales, so I opted for beef enchiladas. The enchiladas are on the small side, and the menu price is per each - just so you know. But they tasted great. My partner opted for a burrito and enjoyed it very much. Part of the fun was being compensated for drinking a margarita and sitting at the bar -- 2 Susan B Anthony dollars per drink, per person. We thought it was a great promotion, and enjoyed the $12 reward, on top of a very fun evening. We'd easily recommend it.

Unbelievable. No social distancing or masks worn by the staff. Out door dining allowed smoking, be aware. Waitress who shall remain unnamed was nice but clueless, had to ask us three times in 40 minutes what we ordered. We ordered an overpriced bottle of wine and an appetizer that was appropriately priced for ' happy hour' otherwise no. An hour and fifteen minutes and still no food. She finally showed back up and asked again what we ordered, apologized and said she'd see what's wrong mumbling about the kitchen being backed up... now well over an hour in. Finally having the appetizer and all the chips and salsa, we decided to give up as all the patrons around us had been seated, served and leaving. A "manager" came out to offer us the food as a comp. We said no we just want to leave at that point an hour and 45 minutes after being seated. Paid for the wine and appetizer and left. Total abortion, terrible service. Food quality? Who the hell knows. Went back to our accommodations to cheese, crackers and what was left of the wine. NOT recommended. 2nd worst experience I've ever had dining!

While visiting my sister who lives in Hilton Head she suggested we try Aunt Chiladas Easy Street Cafe. It was a Saturday night, and yes we are aware of the COVID restrictions and new rules and regulations but there was no crowd or wait. We proceeded to find a seat outside since none of us felt comfortable eating inside. The busboy informed us that normally we were to be seated by the hostess stationed inside but since they weren't busy he would send over a waitress. The waitress never arrived, although we were accosted by the hostess who informed us that we must enter the restaurant and check in with her prior to seating ourselves. My sister, who is a regular, went with the hostess noticed there was no wait and proceeded to go back to our table - that is when the hostess told us no there was a long wait. My sister asked where were the so called people that were waiting? Wish we would have taken a photo of the empty bar and inside where the people were supposedly waiting. We think the hostess was doing a power play and seemed embarassed by my sister questioning her authority and she proceeded to tell us to leave our table. We left immediately and went to a nearby restaurant. On our way back from dinner we passed by Aunt Chiladas and low and behold "our table" and several others were still vacant! Never got a chance to try their food, etc. but my sister who has been a Hilton Head resident for over 15 years will never go again and she will definitely pass along this information to all her renters and guests. What a shame!

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us. However, it should be noted that you did not follow proper seating precautions that are listed as you walk in. And that you sat at a table that was already going to someone who had been waiting patiently for it. Please do understand that we get numerous, "regulars/locals" and we treat everyone with the same fairness and respect despite where they are coming from. We apologize and hope you can possibly one day, dine with us.

Our waitress wore her mask below her nose and mouth the entire time while leaning in to talk to us. The food is just bad Mexican food but that is to be expected in South Carolina. Very bad salsa that tasted like ketchup and flavorless guacamole. It’s also a bit pricey for the poor quality. The best part is the ambience and styling of the restaurant which is cute. The drinks were also decent. Because of the irresponsibility of the waitstaff I would definitely recommend avoiding this restaurant like the plague that it’s spreading.

Mediocre service, due to short staffing, horrible margaritas; even the so-called “Cadillac Margarita” was weak. The food, the food. I ordered a chimichanga, which was really a burrito. It was okay. My guest ordered a sizzling chicken fajita skillet … no sizzle — literally — and fatty chicken. $61 to learn I will NOT be returning.

Ate here a week ago and it was terrible, the food and service. I got the fried avocado taco rice and black beans and my kids got cheese enchiladas. None of it was good. Don’t waste your time here.

I’ve been coming to Hilton Head for 40 years and this is the worst, lowest quality food I’ve ever had here. The waitress also had a chip on her shoulder I’ve never heard anyone recommend this restaurant but we went because of proximity. Don’t go, McDonalds is ten times better

My wife and I had always looked forward to going to Aunt Chiladas on Thursday night for their TNT special. We left last year without eating because of service and this year will be our last year going. I understand there are issues with staffing and the restaurant is closing early, but that does not excuse the attitude of the employees that are working. We stood at the hostess stand with a hostess sitting in front of us on her phone for almost 5 minutes before she looked up to acknowledge us. She had no interest in being there or helping us. Two other hostess came over to help her seat us in a nearly empty restarting. When we were finally walked over to our table the hostess couldn’t even put her phone away that she was texting someone one. We sat and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally our server came over. She was lovely and took good care of us. Very friendly and outgoing. She was about the only employee who seemed to care. We went for the margarita and taco special that started at 8 but they closed at 9 because they are “so short staffed” every employee seemed to only care about getting everyone out of the restaurant by 9 so they could leave. I am in the service industry and understand the issues with finding staff right now, but the attitudes of the employees they have are a direct reflection of the management running this restaurant. It is a real shame that SERG restaurant Group has let this restaurant be run so poorly not just this year but over the past few years. Thursdays always seemed to be an unbelievable busy night for them even last year during COVID the restaurant was on a wait and packed. This year empty. We will not be back to Aunt Chiladas anytime soon.

Our family visited Aunt Chiladas Easy Street Cafe on a weekend night during our trip to Hilton Head. We waited around 45 minutes to be seated outside on the patio. Live music was playing as well as a magician that went around to various tables. He came to ours and did several very impressive card tricks. The restaurant seemed a bit short staffed as our waitress was assigned to every table on the patio and we waited a long time to order initially which delayed our food and waited awhile after we had eaten to be given the check. The patio was a pleasant place to spend the time though and once the food arrived it was very good. I had the Ultimate Chimi which was great and a lot of food. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Aunt Chiladas in Hilton Head.

So thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our waitperson, Maddie, was very sweet and recommended a couple of dishes. We were served a basket of chips and some of the best salsa I've ever tasted. For my meal I chose the Elote Bite Taco and it was exceptional. I wish I could have eaten more because of the variety of tacos offered. My spouse enjoyed the Blackened Shrimp Quesadilla and after eating to his hearts content, he had enough to take home for a second snack. The restaurant is very nice, the staff were cheerful and helpful. It is an establishment that I would go back to without hesitation, and I whole heartedly recommend. It is in a great location., easy to find, and a large parking area. Hope to visit HHI and Aunt Chiladas again in the coming months.

We've been coming here for years and the fajitas never disappoint. They come out SIZZLING on a cast iron serving platter. The portion is huge-my wife and I share one order. Plenty to eat. On our visits this Winter we engaged with JOY, one of the Managers who couldn't be nicer or friendlier. If your mouth is watering for great Fajitas, go here-you won't be disappointed. They have a very nice outside Bar/seating area with some high top tables with plenty of overhead heaters.

Like so many restaurants they are short staffed, they even had a sign indicating patience was necessary due to short staffing. We did notice the tables per waiter was high, but they were really hustling and the service was nearly as good as if they had been fully staffed, I was appraised. I had the seafood enchilada and my wife had the stacker, we did have an argument over who had the best food, Since I am writing this review, the enchilada is indeed the best thing on their menu!

This place had been recommended and it did not live up to our expectations (which weren't high). The salsa was super spicy, all the food was just mediocre and the live music was terrible (seemed to be homeless or on drugs or both). The wait staff was good, the guy who brought our food though was not great. If you have a choice...choose somewhere else!
