We frequented this cafe twice today. We first had breakfast. I had the quiche and my wife had the waffle. Both were great.
We wanted lunch but were not real hungry. We decided to split the Reuben with pastrami. Excellent and perhaps the best Reuben...we ever have eaten.
Service was very good.More
We brought our children and grandchildren with us for the first visit to The French Bakery which was Sunday brunch. We brought my brother and sister-in-law back 3 days later because we wanted them to enjoy their incredible food. Both visits were excellent, food was...superb and Marek made us feel like VIPs! We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Hilton Head!More
Food was good, not great or better than other local options. You pay before you eat. We didn’t get all of our order. Had to go inside to get the rest. Seating outside was buggy and the table sticky. Person taking our order was rude....Saw our “server” only when she brought the food. No public restrooms - kind of like a carry out restaurant with some outdoor seating. Not to mention you have to pay a $9 daily pass to access this area of the island. Don’t recommend.More
We came here for a 1pm-ish Sunday brunch, ordered the Southern Breakfast and the Reuben Sandwich - gobbled them both up! Everything is made to order, right down to how you like your bacon (crispy? soft?). The quality of the food -- meats, breads, sweets...-- is high considering the prices aren't very high. Good stuff. I was told that they make all their baked goods there daily. Brought home a couple of choco croissants "for later"-hah! lightly cripsy, buttery, and chocolately DIVINE!! Would like to come here before work some time & try the coffees.More
We stopped in on the way to the airport. We both had eggs, bacon and toast. Very filling and quick service. I would have loved to try their pastries but passed. They looked delicious. If you are not staying in Sea Pines community beware of...$8 dollar fee to enter.More
