We enjoyed our on Monday lunch so much we returned on Tuesday for an encore performance. I had the oyster platter both times and my wife had the broiled sampler the first visit and the oyster platter during the second visit. The generous portions of small, tender oysters were "sweet". We also had an order of calamari was also tops,... More
I enjoyed this family friendly restaurant very much. It is located on Jarvis Creek with a great view of the lowlands. There is a play area for kids also. The food is tasty and average priced. On my last visit I had the gumbo as a special soup. Yum! The shrimp and grits are some of the best I've had... More
So many great seafood places in Hilton Head that you can pay $50 per person and feel like you had a wonderful experience! Skip the Crazy Crab! Went in the restaurant on Sunday night and about 1/3 of tables were open ready to be seated and was told there was a 30 minute wait! I said what about all of... More
Really enjoyed our lunch here. The drinks were excellent. My mother had the She-Crab soup and low country boil, while I had the Reuben special. This is not a fancy, fine dining restaurant, and were prices were pretty reasonable.
The food was great but and service was excellent. We visited the Crab House in March with two of our granddaughters and really appreciated the excellent food and service. Scot was our waiter and he really made the visit special. We will definitely be visiting the Crazy Crap again in the future. Thanks Scott for making our experience special.
The food at The Crazy Crab on Jarvis Creek was the best seafood of any restaurant we ate at during our trip. The portions are large and it is well worth the price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Please note, the food was so good at this restaurant we ate at The Crazy Crab in Harbour town near the... More
With outdoor seating overlooking the salt marshes, this is an excellent spot for a cocktail, especially at sunset. Service is fine and the hush puppies are good, but the positives end there. We've eaten here for both lunch and dinner 3 or 4 times. ... but not again. The she-crab soup was cold and lacked flavor (especially noticeable given there... More
Went here for lunch. Only negative, they charge you $6 toll to drive out there. It was very busy, but we're seated and waited on promptly. The oysters on half shell were good but pretty big oysters. Both our lunches were good. Definitely would go back for lunch.
