We stopped hear for the music and stayed for dinner. The menu has everything from seafood to hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. It's a large outdoor patio with a lot of socially distanced tables to make you feel comfortable. We ordered the fried pickles as an...appetizer and the chicken sandwiches were great. It's a great location for outdoor eating.More

We chose to eat at Harbourside on a Friday night. All the dining is outside, which is great, although you seat yourself, which isn't always easy to do, especially when it's crowded. All the food we ate was delicious, although there isn't a huge selection...on the menu. Our appetizer came out with the main courses instead of first, so that was a little odd, and it seemed like it took an exceptionally long time to get the food. Thankfully, they took the appetizer off our bill, so I appreciated that. Our table was rather close to the bar, and so watching and listening to a group of loud drunk gentlemen didn't exactly set a great mood for us, especially with our girls. I would certainly eat here again, but I might try to grab a table farther away from the bar. The food was delicious, so I would recommend it in that regards. Maybe we would've had a better experience if this were a lunch meal, not a dinner.More

The family has spent the past several days in Harbor Town, SeaPines Hilton Head Island. We have come to love Harbourside. Our first visit was more a stop in on the way to our attraction, but the food and service were so memorable that we...had to return. While the menu has many components of typical bar fare, the Harbourside staff take it to another level. Of particular note was the fried shrimp appetizer. The fresh, plump, sweet shrimp were very lightly breaded, more to add seasoning and texture than to cover up, as is often the case. They were HOT, crisp and perfectly cooked (no rubber shrimp here.) A squeeze of lemon and a dab of the perfectly seasoned cocktail sauce produced a gastronomic treat I was not expecting at an outdoor dock bar.The burgers were good, the daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders, but the peel and eat shrimp could have used a bit more seasoning. We returned a second night for drinks after a less impressive meal nearby. Our bartender Todd was attentive and pleasant, performing his duties with efficiency and professionalism. Of particular note was that in response to the current health environment, when a guest down the bar from us coughed, Todd immediately offered all fo the patrons at the bar a disposable mask, if we wished. Sitting dock side, listening to the live entertainment on a pleasant June evening, sharing a cocktail with my wife, is my idea of a perfect evening. When looking for an experience beyond, go to the Harbourside, get the fried shrimp and enjoy your stay.More

Average menu creativity. Burgers and similar. Our burgers were served with cool-to-the-touch buns with warm fries. Note to manager: heat the plates and buns and keep the fries hot.

We’ve eaten many times over the years. Their menu is fairly limited and the food comes in a basket. A fun place to eat, drink and people watch. Our server was Gavin and he was excellent!! Very good coming back asking if we needed any...refills etc.More

Great place to sit outside and enjoy Harbour Town. In the past we had avoided Harbourside due to its limited menu. This trip, we noticed that they had expanded their menu. I then read the reviews and was concerned about the waitstaff. However, looking for...a casual outside restaurant, we decided to give it a try. I am pleased to say, that our experience was superb. Our waitstaff, B. Scott I believe, was very attentive. She was prompt to give us menus when we sat down and then was attentive to our needs. Our major concern in the past was the lack of a fish sandwich. We are so glad that they added one to the menu. We had some special needs regarding the preparation of the fish and french fries that they gladly accommodated. The sandwich and fries were delicious. Was the BEST fish sandwich we had on our trip. We will definitely add this to our list for future visits.More
