I am thrilled we found this place...so good! Looking for great seafood and found it. Our server was great and our view of the tide co.ing in was amazing.

I met family members here and we had a great time. The food was above average. I had pasta/shrimp Alfredo. Our server was outstanding. It seats a great number of people, but you won't notice as there is plenty of room to move around. The server overheard me say I had never tried raw oysters before and brought me a... More
Went because we could get reservations and wanted to eat outside. The view, the service and the food was great. The restaurant was starting to fill up when we left at 5:45. Eating early if you can is a must in Hilton Head unless you want to wait.
I would like to join the others complimenting this long established gorgeous waterview restaurant, but I can't, due to the poor quality of our meal. Old Oyster factory is a nice spot facing out across an inlet and river. Food is good, service ok, and it's large inside so it gets fairly busy. Be prepared to wait at times though there is a nice bar area in case you do have to wait. Is there anything that jumps out at you about this restaurant? Not... More
Wow. We've been here several times in the last year and brought guests almost every time and not once has a single person been disappointed. This last visit was no exception. We came here for their sunset dining on my birthday and as always the food and service were impeccable. Sarah was our server and she was amazing - knowledgeable,... More
I've said it for years, the Old Oyster Factory had the best Crab Cakes around. Also, the Shrimp Bisque was amazing! Always have to come here. The view is great and the service is fantastic. Get there early as the wait can be quite lengthy towards the summer months.
Located right on a creek that feeds into the Atlantic Ocean this is a night "off the beaten path" but well known upscale spot that seems to be loved by locals and visitors alike. Great selection of FRESH seafood and spirits. Kids menu. Friendly staff. Reservations HIGHLY recommended!
