Go to take in a game at the bar, or just for the food - either way, you're gonna be happy. The bloody Marys are perfect, and the brunch is one of the best in the area. There aren't a lot of restaurants with Scotch eggs on the menu, let alone have them prepared as well as these are. Any... More

Stopped by to meet several friends for a drink and a quick dinner and ended up staying several hours at the bar. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their food. I had the meatloaf, one had lobster pot pie and the other prime rib. The bartender Julie was very pleasant and we all had a lot of laughs.

The most difficult place to find because of its location off Rte. 278 and the traffic. However, the food is consistently good and has some old fashioned home entrees for most everybody.

This my favorite place to go for a hot lunch. We really enjoy the soups. Today I had black pea soup with sausage. Also the meatloaf mashed potatoes. Also cottage pie with beef. Service is good. Lots of British and golf stuff there a bar menu. Lots of choices on the menu.

The only thing worse than the service is the food. I ordered the special (FISH &CHIPS) and my wife ordered the RUBEN. The fish was burned and the Ruben spent so much time under the heat lamp that the bread was soggy. The server never returned during the meal period except to bring the check. When you are paying over... More

My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner on Dec 31. Selected this place because of an ad we saw in a magazine left in our rental home. We both had the fish and chips as they were recommended by our friendly waitress we had. Fish was pretty good as was the coleslaw. Chips tasted like they had... More

Wanted to meet up with friends - one wanted a good burger and another seafood. We picked this place because the menu fit the bill and the TA reviews looked really good. Husband and teenager had fish and chips, friend got the cheeseburger and fries, and I went for the pub food: bangers and mash. Bangers were excellent with the... More

This is a nice, quiet pub that serves traditional British cuisine. This time I had the Beef Cottage Pie and was quite pleased. Others in my group had Reubens, burgers, and chicken pot pies. Everyone was pleased with the service and their dinner choices.

Very pleasant way to enjoy excellent single malt, fine red meat, and great service. My bride of 49 years was equally pleased with other choices. We were a bit early but never rushed. We had been there a few years back; nothing has changed in good way.
