Went there for the first time while visiting Hilton Head. Steaks were mediocre, desserts were bland, and lobster bisque was terrible. I would definitely not go here again.

We ate at Wiseguys 3 consecutive nights during a few days on Hilton head Island. The steaks are always great. Also tried the beef short rib and the chicken parm. Both were excellent. The serving staff was great and very attentive. This continues to be...one of our favorite restaurantsMore

The ambience is really nice. The service was missing in action. After our meal was brought out (not by our server), quite a bit of time passed and I finally grabbed a different server to request butter and sour cream. The bleh sweet potatoes were...cool enough that the butter did not seem to melt by that time. They might have tasted better if they were hot, but served as being warm, they needed butter and sour cream or something. Their expensive aged Delmonico was mildly better than an Outback or Lonestar. Yes, it tasted good . . . not great. If it tasted great, the price would have been worth it. I would not give up on them. My father seemed to love his scallops and they looked good. Maybe because it was a slow night, yet the steak house next door looked liked it was packed and people were waiting. Give it a try, but I was underwhelmed. Going out for a meal should be a treat, particularly in this mid-high price range.More

Great food and terrific servers along with a pleasant environment make Wise Guys a must visit on every visit to the island. We usually get a few of the small plate offerings and share. We had Flash Fried Shrimp and Calamari, the Filet Mignon Sliders...and the Roasted Cauliflower along with a Prosciutto & Fig Pizzetta. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!More

Truly lived up to it's reputation for a special occasion restaurant. My ribeye was up there with the best steaks I've ever had and that's really saying something! Great service and ambiance matched the great food.

Server named Michael was excellent. Since our last visit, place was expanded. Scallop Risotto and Pan Roasted Salmon, simply excellent.

I have eaten at Wise Guys for years, and it is normally one of my favorite places to eat, but last night my dinner was just so, so. The good: the French Onion soup and the loaded jacket potato. The bad: the Sirloin Steak. One...of my friends and I had it, and it was one of the toughest pieces of sirloin either of us had ever eaten. We did tell our server, and all she said was, "I'll tell the chef". Stick with the filet!More

Extremely slow! This was the longest wait for food we have ever had- we got seated right away but it took 2 hours for our food to get to us- even water & drink refills took long- the food was very good- the apps &...specials were very good- the waiter apparently forgot to put our food order in- I didn’t expect dinner to be 4 hours.More

Food was delicious-and service outstanding. Thank you Michael for taking such good care of us despite the fact that the place was busy and lively. Everything -apps, steaks, salads, sides, was great. The fondue dessert -and the amazing Hall wine- what a night!

Holidaying in Hilton Head, somewhere we had never been before, we were entirely reliant on recommendation as to where to go. Both the web and people we spoke to were positive on Wise Guys. When we arrived we got a great initial impression, busy place...with good atmosphere. Trouble began when the food arrived. Main course was tepid at best temperature wise. If you have ever tried to eat cold steak, not so good. Even my youngest daughter who was on the kids menu said her nuggets were not hot! Same thing with dessert, warm on the outside but cold in the middle. Not a good night. We had hungry kids so needed to make the best of it. To be fair the restaurant gave us a discount, but still really disappointing by comparison to the reviews.More

Not sure how this restaurant isn’t the top rated restaurant on the island. Everything on the menu is prepared wonderfully! We had a group of 18 and to a person, everyone said it was perfect. Our waiter was a young man named Tanner and I...think he was the best waiter I’ve ever had. Just a great evening!More

Definitely a spot to take customers on a work trip! They have something for everyone. I was told the best meal our group had while on a work trip. The food, atmosphere, wine, dessert and staff were exceptional. Salmon, steak, braised short ribs, calamari appetizer...and flatbread pizza are highly recommended!More
