All of our ice cream is homemade the way mom and pop shops used to make ice cream before people started watering down or pumping air into ice cream. Our ice cream is rich in cream and is dense because we do not pump air into our product. We have over 40 flavors available at a time from traditional flavors to more creative flavors. Come on in and give us a try!

This place is really great, when they say that ice cream has a flavor they mean it. The service was fast and one of the only places on the island that had everyone in masks and cleaning all the time. If you want Great Ice Cream this is your place

The cookie monster ice cream was the most amazing ice cream I have ever had! The place was packed but staff moved the line along pretty quickly. Great customer service, too. When my daughter got a flavor she didn't like, they gave her a new one at no charge, even after we insisted on paying for another.

We usually visit this ice cream shop at least once or twice during our vacations in Hilton Head........such a great variety of ice cream selections and HUGE scoops (although you pay the price for them!).
This year, the shop was busier than ever and, because of limited employees (maybe?), the wait time was much longer than previous years.
Yet, the staff members are the some of the friendliest and most patient on the island.
Thanks for providing the continuing treats during our visit!

First, I have never in my life posted a review online. Never. That's how angry I am about my visit.
Second, maybe I should have asked the price before I ordered it but I just didn't think it would be too crazy. I understand this is a beach town and there is an additional expense on top of what I would normally pay, but come on. $7.79 for a regular milkshake?? That is absolutely insane. I was too stunned to even back-out of the order.
Third, I was then told that on a $7.79 order there would be an additional fee for a credit card charge. No one asked me if that was okay. Just told me and ran the charge. An additional $.29 for the milkshake.
Last, I can forgive everything up to hear if the milkshake was done well. It isn't hard. But what I received was so subpar it still annoys me as I write this. It was only filled 3/4 of the way up the cup. It also was not a milkshake....it was creamy strawberry soft serve. Like a Wendy's frosty. 100% impossible to drink through a straw even after letting it sit for 20 mins. How can you possibly charge that price and give me something of so low quality?
I hate that I am writing this but there has to be some check on the quality of what a store provides when you charge so much for a small item.Â

We went here since they are one of the only ice cream shops open later in the evening. You would be better off going to Kroger and buying your own. They had basic boring flavors of hard ice cream then try and charge $6 for one scoop! Complete rip off for mediocre ice cream. I would not recommend going here.

Like many, we have visited Hilton Head Ice Cream for years but recent visit suggests things have changed, and not for the better. One mildly positive change is the shop have created more space and improved the traffic flow. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any supervision, quality control or employees that appear to care. The only goal seems to be getting people to the cash register as quickly as possible. During our early evening visit, before there was much of a line, the employees were literally just slapping ice cream into cups & cones with little regard for whether the ice cream actually stayed in the cup/cone ... ice cream dripping everywhere. Basically the employees just don't seem to care at all. So disappointing.

I do apologize for your experience. That is not typical for us. Unfortunately, we recently had a drastic and abrupt drop in employee availability for several reasons and it has left us with a labor shortage just like many other businesses across the country. We have been working very hard in order to stay open instead of limiting our hours or closing in order for our customers to be happy. Unfortunately, you caught us when we were not at our best. However, everyone has been working tirelessly so I must ask for your compassion and understanding as this is just a temporary setback.

This may be the best ice-cream on HH but it is not the best ice-cream we have ever had and we would not necessarily rush back. The store was spacious and clean, but service was not necessarily the friendliest. We were the only patrons In The establishment late afternoon and the staff was clearly impatient as we weighed our options. There were quite a few flavors to choose from, but once we decided on a flavor we did enjoy eating it outside on the patio which provided a laid back, relaxing environment.

The pralines and cream ice cream was absolutely delicious, but what stood out the most was the kindness of the girls serving the ice cream. They were extremely nice and provided me with extra toppings for my ice cream. They also informed me that the ice cream was homemade. I’ll definitely be returning whenever in the area.

Last night in Hilton Head Island before returning home, kids wanted ice cream but we didn’t wanna go to the ones in Cologny Plaza (good but also crowded).
Hilton Head Ice Cream was a very good surprise, with an extensive menu and the staff is really courteous.
We will definitely come back next time in town!

We’ve been going to Hilton Head for a decade and Hilton Head Ice Cream is the best ice cream shop on the island. The selection is great and the staff breezes through even a line of 50 people in no time. Cookie Monster ice cream is a must for the young ones. But beware to not get it on “picture night” because the kids WILL have a blue mouth. We will continue to frequent Hilton Head Ice cream every time (read as multiple times per trip) we are on the island!

Visited here with seven of us after dinner. The portions are large, so even a kid scoop is plenty for most adults. But the costs ($9 milkshake) are tough to handle. The quality is a little above average. A little puzzled by some missing flavors (dark chocolate?)

My family of 6 really wanted ice cream, but didn't want to stand in line for an hour for it. We were lucky enough to find the quaint little ice cream shop. There was no waiting and a nice shaded patio to sit. The ice cream was yummy and the young lady working behind the counter was very nice. We really enjoyed and will be back on out next trip.

We’ve been going to Hilton Head for many years now, and Hilton Head Ice Cream is easily the best ice cream shop on the island. Huge scoops and great selections. Go early to beat the after dinner crowd.

Loved the icecream at this location. size of dish was huge and 3 of us had tough time finishing all of it for medium size ordered. Quite a few choice of flavor and right next door to pizze place as well.

It is very difficult to find an ice cream dessert that is dairy free. I was thrilled to find this spot. Although mango sorbet was available, I chose the lemon ice. It was a yellow ice ( it is usually white), filled with bits of lemon. It was one of the most delicious desserts I have had while in SC. Wish you would consider experiencing with a chocolate sorbet!
My husband ordered pistachio ice cream which had huge chunks of nuts in every bite. His second choice was the heath ice cream. All in all, we will be back!
