The ice cream is the best on the Island, as far as I can tell. Better than Kilwin's, which is VERY good. HH Ice Cream is richer and tastier. The only problems I have: HH Ice cream should steal Kilwin's idea of the waffle bowl....It is awesome and worth going to Kilwin's for by itself. The only other thing that HH needs to do is clean up their outside seating area better. It is the ONLY seating area and pig customers left bowls and napkins on the ground. It was not a dumpster fire, don't get me wrong, but the staff should get out there and clean it up more frequently, including wiping down the tables. Last night in Hilton Head Island before returning home, kids wanted ice cream but we didn’t wanna go to the ones in Cologny Plaza (good but also crowded). Hilton Head Ice Cream was a very good surprise, with an extensive menu and the staff is...really courteous. We will definitely come back next time in town!More

We’ve been going to Hilton Head for a decade and Hilton Head Ice Cream is the best ice cream shop on the island. The selection is great and the staff breezes through even a line of 50 people in no time. Cookie Monster ice cream...is a must for the young ones. But beware to not get it on “picture night” because the kids WILL have a blue mouth. We will continue to frequent Hilton Head Ice cream every time (read as multiple times per trip) we are on the island!More

Best ice cream on HHI!! We come here every year and they always have so many flavors to choose from. You won’t be disappointed!

I don't need to say more than that we had dessert here 3 out of our 4 nights on Hilton Head (but I'm required to have at least 100 characters).

Well, I wasn’t impressed by the “homemade” icecream. The wax chips so-called chocolate chips ruined the icecream. Sorry guys you gotta upgrade that significantly! Smart marketing- no size Lg. Now called a medium. Sundae- hot fudge on the bottom of the cup icecream on top...- turns really fast into soup! What a mess trying to eat before it all melts- gonna have to address that too!More

There's a line! Get ready to wait a bit! But it's worth it! I really enjoyed my coffee ice cream! It was the bomb! My son said his strawberry ice cream was probably the best he's ever had!

I’m not sure why this has such high reviews . The ice cream is mediocre. We had a hot fudge Sunday and it was beyond icky gooey sweet. So much dye in all their flavors. We came last night for a treat and left very satisfied. My husband had the cookies and cream and I had mint Oreo scoops. The scoops were generous and reasonably priced. We ate at a table outside and enjoyed the pleasant evening ass well as...our treat.More

We have ;even coming to HHI for 30 years and have bemoaned the dearth of ice cream shops. We found a good one. It was easy to get to, adequate parking, right off Pope Ave. There was only 1 employee but she was doing great...and was very pleasant. We loved the salted caramel and kaluha we had. The prices seem comparable to most places. Will return for sure!More
