Love the atmosphere and live music and service was excellent but the food wasn’t very good. My husbands Caesar salad was the best thing. My monkfish tasted muddy and the rice was mush and super over cooked (not acceptable for $30 a plate). The cocktails...were good so next time we are sticking to drinks. Bummer because we hoped for more.More

Took my father out to eat and drinks here last Thursday night and had the worst service I ever experience here. We sat at an outside high table by the round outside hurricane bar! Our waitress, when she finally decided to come to the table...after 25 mins of waiting to place a drink order, brought out the wrong drinks then she had a hard time remembering our food order. She had to return twice to confirm a calamari and fish tocos order ?? Finally when our food arrived at the table it was stone cold! The calamari was more bread crumbs then calamari ! Our waitress kept disappearing from site and it was hard to locate her, finally I had to get up from our table and ask a bartender for a our bill after she finish a Jameson shot. Come to find out our waitress finished working her shift and never checked on us before clocking out WTf lol !! I finally observed and figured out what was going on and why service was so bad! The bartenders and servers were all doing Jameson’s shots behind the bar one after another within 10 mins apart ! This was taking place the entire time we were sitting at our table. I think this is illegal according to SC liquor control board in Charleston. The employees alcohol consumption was out of control, oh and our waitress was right there doing shots when I asked if I could get my bill! Totally made the restaurant look trashy and unprofessional. After being a loyal customer there for years I do t think I will return again I highly don’t recommend this place unless you like watching the staff get drunk or giving away free drinks to their friends good luck Sorry I hope management fix this problem before some gets hurt!More

We frequent this establishment often. On Tuesday November 3, 2020 we came to have dinner/drinks and watch election returns on TV. Brad was the bartender and very abusively advised us he would not put on the elections results due to problems with "rif raff" like...us. I was so shocked, insulted and felt unwelcome in this establishment for 1st time ever. We let immediate and went to restaurant next door. They happily welcomed us, placed election results on tv and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and drinks. I can recommend this restaurant however if Brad is your bartender/server I suggest you run and request server/bartender change. He is rude, unprofessional and clearly not asset to hospitality industry.More

Had a really nice Sunday brunch here. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and he really enjoyed the combination of flavors. I had the Mcmarlin sandwich which was also very tasty as were the white cheddar hash browns (especially with some hot sauce). We split...a blueberry pancake and it was the perfect sweet ending to our brunch. Our server was friendly and attentive as were the rest of the staff we encountered. We would definitely return here for brunch or to try out their dinner options. The staff also was attentive to current safety precautions.More

Brent and Conner were the best servers ever and were so much fun! We came to the Black Marlin and it was so delicious we ended up coming back the next night too. You will never experience anything like this. Magnificent!

Three bars, eight of us for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had a North Carolina Trout with capers that was excellent.

Good food, bad service! Four of us dined here tonight and we all enjoyed the Seafood Trio, Stuffed Shrimp and Ba Ha Tacos. But the service was sorry.More

I would doubt it. It’s not that type of restaurant. But, you can order online so they must do takeout. I would not do take out for seafood though.

Hi Joey1947, we are wheelchair accessible. While the ramp is located on the far left side of the main building we would love for you to use our bar entrance making it easier to enter the restaurant. Once inside we will... More
