Antonino Bertolo's is a nice little pizzeria in Downtown Greenville. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. We typically just go for a simple cheese pie, maybe with a topping or two. The crust is very much like a NY style Pizza, (as you can see from my TA name, I was born in... More

Called ahead 1-1/2 hours before the game, walked from the Bon Secours Arena Parking Lot to Bertolo's, and found our 1/2 pepperoni/sausage and 1/2 cheese/black olive/green pepper 16" pizza ready to eat in 1 hour before the game! It was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful, with plenty of time to walk back to the Arena to see... More

Dropped in looking for something quick to carry to my nearby hotel room. Ordered a Stromboli which was ready in just a few minutes.

Options are limited if you're downtown on a Sunday and hungry for pizza. This was OK. Pizza by slice is available but just cooked cheese pizza with ingredients added and reheated. No on the street or open air seating. Staff and service were nice.

I begin by saying they have the perfect crust. Not too thick, not too thin. Hot and fresh. They don't skimp on the cheese. Best place in town. Ordered chicken Alfredo with spinach on half only. Perfect place to go on a lunch date with Mom. Great place to gather on a late night with friends.

The best pizza in town. Amazing pizza, so hot and awesome flavor sensations. Not just pizza, they have awesome bread sticks and a place to sit on couches and watch TV.

Being from the suburbs of Philadelphia, I know a good pizza. As soon as I walked into the store to pick up a menu, I could smell the scents that assured me this was authentic Italian fare. I ordered a Caesar salad, baked ziti (which included almost a pound of pasta), and a sweet tea. It was delicious!

Good pizza at a good value. We enjoy their margherita pizza with wine/beer. Good service. Convenient location on Main street for us.

Description
The tradition of hard work and dedication with the Bertolo family began when Pete Bertolo had to start working at the age of 7 due to the sudden death of his father. At the age of 9, he became a full-time painter. At the age of 15, he and his family were driven out of Italy and chose to start a new life in America. He began working at a sewing factory in New York where he met his wife, Josephine, 4 years later. They both worked at the factory until 1977. In 1978, Pete and Josephine started from scratch a family business in Greenville, South Carolina. The success of the family business is based on both a strong work ethic and recipes steeped in Sicilian heritage. Antonino Bertolo went back to his roots and all the recipes currently being used in the restaurant can be traced back through 5 generations of Sicilian tradition. Antonino Bertolo realized the importance of the perfect balance of tomato sauce and spices when it comes to pizza sauce. The dough is made with 100% pure olive oil with a hint of honey. And Lastly, the Mozzarella cheese is still the same high quality “Grande Cheese” used when the doors opened in 1977 to give Antonino Bertolo’s Pizza its unique rich flavor. Antonino Bertolo’s signature pizza sauce uses the freshest and finest ingredients mixed together to make the perfect New York style pizza with a Sicilian influence.
